Inkjet Transfer Paper for White and Light Colored Fabrics (Square RED grid) Instructions Hot Peel Heat Transfer Papers are designed for ink jet printers to transfer photos and images to T-shirts, Sweatshirts, mouse pads, puzzles and leather goods. Choose garments that have a tight weave. This is particularly important when transferring to sweatshirts. Product is suitable for home use and can be transferred with a hand iron. PREPARE TO PRINT When printing multiple transfers, use plain paper setting. 360dpi, Photo Glossy setting will give a brighter image, but requires a longer drying time. (Multiple feeding is only recommended when using plain paper setting) TEMPERATURE 193° C/ 380° F PRESSURE Medium to High TIME 20-25 Sec. PRINTING 1) Mirror the image. 2) Print image on the White Coated side of the transfer paper with an Inkjet Printer. 3) Trim away the unprinted areas of the transfer if desired. Send To Computer Print Paper White/Lights T-shirt Transfer Peel Cool or Hot HEAT PRESS For use with: Inkjet, Heat Press, Hand Iron-OK, White or Light Color TRANSFERRING- USING A COMMERICAL HEAT PRESS 1) Place garment onto the press pad. 2) Place the transfer on top of the garment with: Image Side down. 3) For all size transfers, set heat temperature at: 193 C/ 380 F. 4) Press and hold for 20-25 seconds using medium to high pressure. 5) Remove the paper while HOT for a matte finish, or Peel cool for a glossy finish. 1 Florida Flexible Printing Products, Inc. 2699 WEST 79 Street, Hialeah, FL 33016 – Tel: (305) 512-2222 – Fax: (305) 512-0436 www.floridaflex.com – email: [email protected] TRANSFERRING-USING A HOUSE-HOLD HAND IRON 1) Preheat iron to highest cotton setting for 5 minutes. DO NOT USE STEAM. (Empty all water) 2) Use heavy pressure while ironing. Use an ironing surface that is waist level or below. DO NOT USE AN IRONING BOARD. 3) Place a pillowcase on the surface and iron the pillowcase to remove wrinkles. 4) Place the transfer with the image side down in the center of the garment. 5) Hand ironing is recommended only for T-shirts and light weight fabrics. FULL SHEET TRANSFER 1) Using both hands, slide the iron up and down as shown in diagram. In 90 seconds, make enough passes to completely iron the shirt 2 times. The iron should be halfway of the edge when the edges are ironed. 2) Using both hands, slide the iron side to side as shown in diagram. In 90 seconds, make enough passes to completely iron the shirt 2 times including all edges. The iron should be halfway of the edge when the edges are ironed. 3) For smaller transfer one-half sheet or less, the ironing time is reduced to 1.5 minutes total. If transfer area is smaller than the iron, iron for 30 seconds with heavy pressure. PAPER REMOVAL (COOL PEEL) Allow transfer to cool for approximately 60 seconds and remove paper. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS Turn garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat setting. Do not iron directly on the transferred area. STORAGE AND HANDLING OF UNUSED SHEETS Store in a cool, dry area and do not remove from carton or poly bag until you are ready to use. Important Note: Ink Jet Transfer Papers are designed for used ONLY in desktop inkjet printers, cannot be used in printers with heating elements to dry the ink (for example, HP 1200C). A test is always recommended to determine the suitability of this paper for your equipment and your methods. The Seller’s and Manufacturer’s maximum obligation shall be replacing any paper that has been proved to be defective.
