George F Strong used his middle initial F in his marriage record, and in the 1860 thru 1880 census records. (M31,CK, 48knqr) George F Strong [E4c1a2a1f6c], son of Larkin Booth Strong and Natalie Maebelle Wil- liamson, was born in 1905 at Birmingham, AL. (186vw) George Mastin Strong [E4c1a2a5b], son of Charles Waite Strong and Didama Allison Humphrey, was born in 1831 in Madison Co AL, died there in 1860 before his daughter was born, and his estate went into probate in Madison Co in early 1860 (case # 2347). He had mar- ried Margaret B Moore and they had two children, one born after George died. After George died, Margaret returned to her former home in Shelbyville, Bedford Co TN where her daughter was born. Margaret Moore died there in 1861 and Margaret's relatives raised Georgia, while young Charles was sent back to Madison Co to live with George's parents. -
