Should anything go wrong during or after the upgrade you can use the backup to restore your previous version. See the end of my reply on more information on Image backup utilities. To start the upgrade process: Disconnect all unnecessary devices (USB Thumb drives, Media cards, Etc.) just have the keyboard and mouse. Install the latest Graphics driver update. Disable your Anti-Virus software. You can download the Windows 10 ISO file(s) version 1511 from Microsoft's Tech Bench, create your own installation media and use it to install Windows 10: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench. Also there is the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10. Note : When you click on the above link, please read the instructions carefully. " IMPORTANT: To upgrade for free, select Upgrade this PC now in the tool. You should NOT be asked for a product key during the upgrade process. If you create a USB and use it to install, make sure to remove the USB as soon as setup begins. If you don't, you may be prompted for a product key. How you activate Windows 10 after reinstalling it depends on how Windows 10 was originally installed on your device. This means you can reinstall the same edition of Windows 10 that your device has a digital entitlement for without entering a product key. For the trial version, recovery / restore image is available only when booting from an Acronis Bootable Media CD. Install Acronis and then create a bootable Restore/Rescue Media CD before you start creating your first image backup. Microsoft Mahjong not working in windows 10. I uninstalled, and reinstalled, but it does nothing. Solitaire plays but not mahjong. I don't like paying for something that I can't get to! I don't understand how it could disappear overnight! This might occur due to Windows store corruption, proxy internet connection etc. I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if the issue persists. Method 1: Reset store cache: a) Press Windows logo key + X and click Run . b) Type WSReset.exe in the empty space and hit ENTER. Check if you are able to download Mahjong from the Store. If the issue still persists, try the next method. Method 2: Re-register the Windows Store App. To re-register, please try these steps: a) Press “ Windows Logo ” + “ X ” keys. b) Click on the “ Command Prompt (Admin) ”. c) On the command prompt window, copy and paste the following command, and then press “ ENTER ” powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml. d) Check the result displayed on the command prompt window. e) If it was successfully processed, then type “ Exit ” and press “ ENTER ”.
