Moving towards a greener, climate resilient tourism economy therefore is increasingly important to ensure a sustainable development path for the country, not only over the long-term but also in the short-term. Going green and adapting to climate change are not an option anymore. Actions are already being taken by the Government, employers, enterprises, trade unions, and other key stakeholders to move towards more sustainable patterns of tourism development. As a consequence, shifts in the tourism labour markets, new demand for green skills and re-skilling programmes, new and adapted profiles of jobs and skills as well as specific measures to help workers, employers and enterprises adapt to this changing environment are essential parts of this transition. As the tourism sector adjusts to this drive towards more sustainable operation and consumption patterns, policies to fully utilize the potential for new green jobs and the greening of existing jobs in tourism are in great demand. The Strategic Plan for Sustainable Tourism and Green Jobs in this regard is a breakthrough of innovative policy making, cooperation and coordination addressing these issues as a whole with a view to creating a policy framework for the implementation of sustainable tourism with green jobs for Indonesia aiming at improving the quality of life of the local communities, workers and employers, and a prosperous society overall. The Strategic Plan, hereby, supports existing Government policies, stresses the potential and need to go green, introduces an integrated approach for the promotion of a job rich sustainable tourism industry and by presenting key strategies it identifies the way forward. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the ILO Constituents, and especially the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy which in collaboration with the ILO took the leadership in the development of this important document. My special thanks also go to the lead author Myra Gunawan and co-author Oliver Ortis as well as all national and international experts, who have participated in the consultation based development process of his work. The Authors Myra Gunawan Oliver Ortis iii EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Indonesian Government, through its Long-Term National Development Plan (RPJP), the Long-Term National Tourism Development Plan (RIPPARNAS), and its tourism Mid-Term Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) communicates a clear vision on the importance of sustainable development. These documents emphasize the need to address people’s welfare and quality of life, conserve natural and cultural resources, and promote international cooperation to advance the country’s development objectives. While there remains continued strong political support at the national levels of government for sustainable tourism and opportunities of the growing market, the country itself faces a number of challenges. With abundant natural and cultural resources and a significant domestic and international market potential, Indonesia is confronted by issues in terms of utilizing these assets in a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable manner. Tourism planning and administration remains lacking in integration among many different ministries and government units. Indonesia’s sizeable informal economy, as well as its lack of skilled human resources in tourism and hospitality threatens to undermine national development goals and weaken the country’s overall competitiveness, whilst short term economic benefit orientation of the sector, despite its quantitative growth, poses direct and indirect threats to environmental welfare and people’s quality of life. On the other hand, sustainable tourism, if well planned and managed can make a direct and positive contribution to Indonesia’s achievement of the Millenium Development Goals, inclusive of poverty reduction, rural development, preservation of culture and society, gender equity, and environmental protection. Employment creation remains a centrepiece of this strategy with the promotion of decent green jobs for the development of environmentally-friendly products,

Published for the first time more than a decade ago as a booklet in a modest cyclostyled shape by the Cultural Department of the Indonesian Embassy in India, it has been revised several times in Jakarta in the same form to keep up to date with new discoveries and current theories.     The following is a firsthand account of a medical-relief mission to western Indonesia that Dennis Whitehead, MD ’75, undertook in March 2005 in response to severe earthquakes that devastated the region only months after the tsunami struck. As this issue of Buffalo Physician was going to press, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. We contacted Whitehead and asked him if he had been involved in relief efforts following the storm. The European Green Deal is a response to these challenges; it aims to transform the EU into a fair and prosperous society, with a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy with zero net emissions of greenhouse gases by 2050. Through the Climate Resilient and Inclusive Cities (CRIC) project, the EU and Indonesia are working together to help cities build a resilient and inclusive future. We do so by building partnerships between governments, businesses, local communities and research institutes in Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Clearly, there are hurdles along the way, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, our response to this pandemic needs to be a sustainable one, addressing the challenges of climate change as well as economic recovery. Just last month, in Sukabumi City of West Java Province, a flash flood cost lives and forced hundreds of citizens to leave their houses. According to the Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency, Indonesia is about to experience more hydrometeorological disasters due to climate change. The CRIC Urban Analysis Report is a timely reminder that cities cannot delay their sustainable transition. This Urban Analysis Report for ten Indonesian pilot cities under the CRIC project offers a comprehensive overview of city characteristics, policy gaps and climate-related policies in the cities of Pangkalpinang, Pekanbaru, Bandar Lampung, Cirebon, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Mataram, Kupang, Gorontalo and Ternate.

Its strategic location is right in the center of Batam and is surrounded by several areas with different functions, among others there are housing (housing Regata, housing Monde Residence, housing Avante, Monde Signature housing, etc.), a school (Mondial school), a commercial area ( Pasir Putih shops, Mahkota Raya shops) and also the location of Ocarina area is close to the international ferry. The phenomenon that occurs in this tourist area has long been built and managed but has decreased visitors so that needs to be revitalized by using the concept of sustainable tourism. This strategic location is not accompanied by the success of the development of the Ocarina area as a public space that offers a variety of game facilities and culinary venues. The phenomenon that makes the need for revitalizing measures both physically and economically to make the Ocarina area can attract visitors to come and enjoy the facilities that are in it. The research method was a qualitative method of direct observation in the field.

Introduction In February 2014 Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) published a report concerning the rise of religious intolerance across Indonesia. Entitled Indonesia: Pluralism in Peril,1 this study portrays the problems plaguing interfaith relations in Indonesia, where many religious minorities suffer from persecution and injustice. The report lists five main factors contributing to the rise of religious intolerance: (1) the spread of extremist ideology through media channels, such as the internet, religious pamphlets, DVDs, and other means, funded from inside and outside the country; (2) the attitude of local, provincial, and national authorities; (3) the implementation of discriminatory laws and regulations; (4) weakness of law enforcement on the part of police and the judiciary in cases where religious minorities are victimized; and (5) the unwillingness of a “silent majority” to speak out against intolerance.2 This list of factors shows that the government bears considerable responsibility. Nevertheless, the hope for a better way to manage Indonesia’s diversity was one reason why Joko Widodo was elected president of the Republic of Indonesia in October 2014. Joko Widodo (popularly known as “Jokowi”) is a popular leader with a relatively positive governing record. He was the mayor of Surakarta (Solo) from 2005 to 2012, and then the governor of Jakarta from 2012 to 2014. People had great expectations for Jokowi’s administration, and there have been positive improvements during his term. From the results of data processing using regression analysis , get the conclusion that, the biggest impact on customer satisfaction is derived from dimension Reliability, Assurance, Tangible, Emphaty and Responsiveness. The influence of service quality on customer satisfaction was at 48 %, and other factors beyond the quality of the service, an influential amounting to 52 %. There is a direct relationship between significant variable quality of service with customer satisfaction, on average 77% declare satisfied, with the sequence of service quality is responsivenes ( 85 % ) , tangible ( 80 % ) , reliability ( 80 % ) , assurance ( 78 % ) , and empaty ( 73 % ). Generally average the satisfaction of passengers and users bandara Hang Nadim , was in the category of 3 ( quite satisfied ).

    - 1 - WALIKOTA BENGKULU PROVINSI BENGKULU PERATURAN WALIKOTA BENGKULU NOMOR 45 TAHUN 2020 TENTANG STANDAR BIAYA PEMERINTAH KOTA BENGKULU TAHUN ANGGARAN 2021 DENGAN RAHMAT TUHAN YANG MAHA ESA WALIKOTA BENGKULU, Menimbang : a. bahwa berdasarkan ketentuan Pasal 51 Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 12 Tahun 2019 tentang Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah, Pasal 3 Peraturan Presiden Nomor 33 Tahun 2020, maka untuk menjamin efisiensi dan efektifitas dalam proses penganggaran dan pelaksanaan anggaran pada Perangkat Daerah di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Bengkulu, perlu adanya tolok ukur dan standar biaya; b. bahwa berdasarkan pertimbangan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam huruf a, perlu menetapkan Peraturan Walikota tentang Standar Biaya Pemerintah Kota Bengkulu Tahun Anggaran 2021; Mengingat : 1. Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Drt. Tahun 1956 tentang Pembentukan Daerah Otonom Kota Kecil, Dalam Lingkungan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan (Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1956 Nomor 57, Tambahan Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia Nomor 1091); 2.
