No.635 - F(Y) Dated, 2nd February, 2018 MEMORANDUM Sub: Creation of Jhalda Treasury under Jhalda Sub-Division in Purulia District. 1. The undersigned is directed by order of the Governor to state that consequent upon creation of the Jhalda Sub-Division in the district of Purulia vide Notification No.100-ARlP/2R-211999 dated 30th March, 2017 of Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms and e-Governance, establishment of a full-fledged treasury in that Sub-Division was under active consideration ofthis Government. 2. Vide this office Memo No. 4936-F(Y)/WB dated 06.l2.2017 and Land & Land Reforms and Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation Department's Memo. No. 230-EsttlFA/O/2M/81117(NB)(Pt.-II), dated 19.01.2018, necessary posts have already been created for the new treasury to be set up at Jhalda. 3. The undersigned is further directed by order of the Governor to state that the Governor is pleased to set up a new treasury in the ground floor of the office building of Jhalda Sub-Division. The said Treasury will commence work from the rtApril, 2018. The jurisdiction of the new treasury shall be coterminous with the jurisdiction of the Jhalda Sub-Division. 4. The State Bank of India, Jhalda Branch shall act as the agency bank in respect of the new treasury. Necessary clearance has already been received from RBI, Kolkata in this regard. 5. Presently, 35 numbers of Drawing and Disbursing Officers of different Govt. Offices and LF/PFD/Deposit Account operators as listed in Annexure-I and 11 respectively having their offices located within the jurisdiction of the Jhalda Sub-Division shall be brought under the control of the Jhalda Treasury. The concerned DDOs/operators shall prefer their bills/cheques/advices to the said Treasury from rtApril, 2018 onwards. 6. The treasury officer where the DDOs/Operators are attached at present shall take all steps to dispose of all the bills/cheques/advices on or before 31st March, 2018. 7. The concerned Treasury Officer will take necessary steps for transfer ofLFI PFDlDeposit Accounts to the new Treasury for the operators listed in Annexure-H. 8. This may be brought to notice of all concerned immediately for information and taking necessary action. Director, Treasuries & Accounts may ensure that the new treasury is provided with computer peripherals and connectivity by the end of February, 2018. The District Magistrate, Purulia may be requested to ensure that infrastructure, furniture and other logistics are arranged by the end of February, 2018. He may further be requested to make necessary arrangement of requisite manpower so that the new Treasury at Jhalda may start full-fledged functioning on and from 1st April, 2018.     www.ijcrt.org © 2021 IJCRT | Volume 9, Issue 5 May 2021 | ISSN: 2320-2882 Forest and wildlife Ecosystem and Human Society: A Geographical study of Purulia District Banani Mahato (Ph.D Research Scholar) Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi; Jharkhand Abstract: The District of Purulia was carved out of the former Manbhum District of Bihar and merged with the State of West Bengal in November- 1956, The district occupies 5th position in the State in respect of size with an area of 6259sq km. Purulia District is surrounded by Bankura and Midnapor in the East, Ranchi and Hazaribag in the West, Dhanbad Bokaro and Hazaribag in the North and West Singbhum in the West. The total area of Purulia District is 6259 sq km. Purulia lies between 22º43'N and 23º42'N latitudes and 85º49E and 86º54' E longitudes. This district of West Bengal is invaded by forest and bio-diversity. There is a close relation between man and environment. Forest is the most important part of environment. This has direct and indirect impact on human life. With deforestation the environment degraded and the climate defers which damages bio-diversity and natural resources and it affects human life. A key note has been discussed about the impact of environment and eco system of Purulia District due to eradication of forest and extinct of wild life animal as has been studied by this author through field investigation at different times. Key words: Forest, Wild life, Environment, Impact of human Life. 1.
