Cisco IPV5050 IP High-Definition Wireless Set-top

The Cisco® IPV5050 IP High-Definition (HD) Wireless Set-top offers subscribers some of the latest enhancements in subscription television viewing. Customers are now free to place their TVs and video devices almost anywhere in the home, in a way that complements their lifestyles and living environments.

The Cisco IPV5050 provides a versatile platform, allowing operators to deliver a wide range of content, including MPEG-2, MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC/H.264, and VC-1 video in standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) formats.

Features

● Multi-Format video decoder capable of High-Definition MPEG-2, MPEG-AVC/H.264/decoding up to 1080p60

● Supports multiple output formats (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p60) to allow optimum picture performance with both standard TVs and HDTVs

● Ethernet port for connection to home residential gateway ™ ● Connects an HDTV to the set-top through the HDMI connector

● Digital audio output to connect easily to high-end audio equipment

● One (1) USB 2.0 ports for connectivity
