Upon completion, Verizon will provide services available over its fiber optic network. The majority of customers served by copper at these locations purchase “plain old telephone service.” Following transition to fiber, Verizon will continue to offer these Marlene H. There may be one or more obsolete, narrowband services (such as certain DS0 level services) that are incompatible with or unavailable over fiber.
