It is the successor building to a meeting house of 1912 built on a site acquired in 1871. It has medium historical value. Aesthetic value The design, the materials and the furnishings are typical of the 1960s, with few decorative details. The building has low aesthetic value. Communal value The building is primarily a Quaker place of worship which is also well-used by local community groups. It has high communal value.
