Blackhawks Hockey Reading Program for 2020-2021

For the 4th year in a row, Hanover Highlands School Library is promoting the Chicago Blackhawks Reading Program! The Chicago Blackhawks Reading Program is designed to encourage students in grades 2-6 to read in and out of the classroom. The Reading Program runs through May 2021 and there are NEW great prizes that students can win:

**NEW** Complimentary Blackhawks ticket offer:  ALL STUDENTS that complete a reading log will receive a Certificate of Completion and an offer for a complimentary Blackhawks game ticket with the purchase of at least one additional ticket purchased by an adult.

 Top five (5) Individual Readers of the Month will receive: - Two (2) tickets to a Blackhawks home game and two (2) tickets for their teacher - Recognition on the Chicago Blackhawks website - Chicago Blackhawks prize pack

The classroom with the most total pages by the end of May will receive:

 A virtual visit from a current Blackhawks player!

 NOTE: The program is only open to grades 2-6 in the , Indiana and southern Wisconsin area.  Reading Logs will be collected on the LAST MONDAY OF EACH MONTH except May which will be collected on Friday, May 28th due to the Monday holiday.

Virtual students can have their parents send me a picture of the Reading Log with the student name and teacher name along with total of minutes read for that month to [email protected]. VIRTUAL STUDENTS: Reading Logs are included with your materials pick-up. IN-PERSON STUDENTS: You will receive/return reading logs in school.
