2014 Homecoming Week Dress Code St. Pius X Student Body MONDAY: ‘Merica Monday Students will celebrate our country and our patriotism by dressing in red, white, and blue shirts with jeans. No tank tops, form fitting shirts, or shirts with inappropriate sayings Wearing an official flag is not allowed. You will be asked to go home. TUESDAY: Tacky Tourist Tuesday Even though we may all be from different parts of the U.S., today we are all tourist. Wear your favorite tourist-y clothes. Ideas: Hawaiian Shirts, extremely white tennis shoes, fanny packs, binoculars, hats/caps No tank tops, form fitting shirts, or shirts with inappropriate sayings No leggings without shorts/skirt to the knee Appropriate shoes (no flip flops or sandals) WEDNESDAY: Regional Dress Students are to dress and accessorize like they live in their classes’ region with uniform bottoms. Seniors: Southern Juniors: Western Sophomores: Northeastern Freshmen/women: Midwestern Look at Class sheet for specifics on what you are allowed to wear!!!! THURSDAY: School & Sports ROCK! Students are to dress to represent sports teams and schools (and their colors) from their region with uniform bottoms. Seniors: Southern Juniors: Western Sophomores: Northeastern Freshmen/women: Midwestern Ideas: Check class sheet for ideas on schools and teams. FRIDAY: Spirit Day Students will wear Homecoming shirt purchased from Student Council and jeans with mum/garter. Only the 2014 Homecoming Shirt can be worn Jeans can only be worn by those who purchase the 2014 Homecoming Shirt Can be worn with jeans or uniform bottoms. No non-uniform shorts or skirts ALL OUTFITS WORN DURING THE WEEK MUST REFLECT THE SPECIFIC DAY’S THEME. Modesty is the best policy! Ideas: UT (burnt orange shirt), A&M (maroon shirt), Alabama, Ole Miss, FSU, Saints, Texans (Red or Blue Shirt), LSU (Purple or Gold Shirt), Spurs, Rangers, Astros FRIDAY: Spirit Day Students will wear Homecoming shirt purchased from Student Council and jeans with mum/garter. Ideas: UCLA (Blue and Gold), Gonzaga, USC (Maroon and Gold), Angels (Red), Dodgers (Blue), Lakers (Purple and Gold) FRIDAY: Spirit Day Students will wear Homecoming shirt purchased from Student Council and jeans with mum/garter. Sophomores are to dress to represent sports teams and schools (and their colors) from the Northeast with uniform bottoms. Ideas: Knicks (Blue and Orange), Yankees (Navy), Red Socks (Red), Jets, Georgetown, MIT, Boston College, Nationals (Red, Gold, Navy Blue), Celtics (Green, Black, and White) FRIDAY: Spirit Day Students will wear Homecoming shirt purchased from Student Council and jeans with mum/garter. Only the 2014 Homecoming Shirt can be worn Jeans can only be worn by those who purchase the 2014 Homecoming Shirt Can be worn with jeans or uniform bottoms. Freshmen/women are to dress to represent sports teams and schools (and their colors) from the Midwest with uniform bottoms. Ideas: Packers (Dark green and Gold), Cubs, Ohio State (Grey and Scarlett), Michigan State (White and Green, Notre Dame (Gold and Blue), Indiana (Crimson and Cream), FRIDAY: Spirit Day Students will wear Homecoming shirt purchased from Student Council and jeans with mum/garter.
