I moved here when my husband decided to come back home. My husband was born and lived all his chilhood in Dormanstown. Dormanstown was built for the workers of the steel industry. Also building some of the countries first retirement homes. It makes no sense to me as a resident why the steel work site is been removed from dormanstown. Whilst removing the industry from what is already a deprived and poor ward why would you want to do this as it will only make the ward poorer and less funds available when the industry goes so does any section 106 money which can only help and support the ward. id like to see the ward back with its heritage in tact and 3 ward councillors as i believe our ward is best represented with 3 rather than 2 which will make things harder for me as they will have a bigger work load and less support. Also as a member of friends of westfield farm we have used funding from the councillors on a number of occasions in order for us to put on events for the community. Our biggest been last year when we opened up the 100yrs celebrations and are continuing with this. this year. i am sure if i had the time to write a petition there would be a high percentage of the residents sign it.     The Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council (Eston, Normanby, Ormesb3:, Teesville and Nunthorpe) (Waiting & Loading & Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2003. The Council of the Borough of Redcar and Cleveland (hereinafter referred to as `The Council') under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as `the Act of 1984') and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following order:- PART I -GENERAL Citation 1 . This order maybe cited as THE REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL (ESTON, NORMANBY, ORMESBY, TEESVILLE AND NUNTHORPE) (WAITING & LOADING & PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2003 . Interpretation 2 (1) (a) The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply to this order as it applies to an Act of Parliament . (b) Where a provision of this order is in conflict with a provision contained in a previous order, the provision of this order shall prevail. (c) Where a statute, statutory instrument, specification or regulations are referred to such reference shall include an amendment to or replacement thereof. (2) In This Order:, all expressions except as otherwise herein provided shall have the meanings assigned to them by the Act of 1984 'Carriageway' Means a way constituting or comprised in a highway being a way (other than a cycle track) over which the public have a right of way for the passage of vehicles. `Delivering and Collecting_ In relation to any goods includes checking of goods for the purpose of their delivery or collection.

Transport 2 Dormanstown Primary Academy – SEN Information Report DEFENITION OF INCLUSION At Dormanstown Primary Academy, we consider inclusion fundamentally as equality of opportunity. When putting together our SEN Information Report, we have identified three strands to the creation of a fully inclusive Academy: the creation of inclusive cultures; producing inclusive policies; evolving and sharing inclusive practices. The Inclusion Standard, as defined in The Salamanca Statement (UNESCO, 1994), re-affirms inclusion as… “…the continuous process of increasing the presence, participation and achievement of all children, young people and adults in local community schools where possible. ’’ and asked all governments ‘’as a matter of law or policy the principle of inclusive education, enrolling all children in regular schools, unless there are compelling reasons for doing otherwise’... At Dormanstown Primary Academy, we have underpinned this ethos by establishing an Inclusion Team which has responsibility for all Vulnerable Learners, including SEND, Welfare and Safeguarding.
