Activitiea pertaining to engagement with the Diaspora will be organized at this Kendra. 2. It is envisaged that the decor of the building will be representative of the rich diversity of art' and culture of India and reinforce the Diaspora's connect to their place of origin in India. 3. Given the salience of the building,, we request that the Sta:te Government contribute one artefact or object d'art representing unique art heritage of your State. An original work of art, created by a master craftsman of your State would be most desirable. Due credit would be given to the State Government at display at the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra. 4. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary, Govt. of India, vide which it has been informed that a Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra (PBK), constructed to commemorate the migration, achievements and contribution of the overseas Indian community and located in Chanakyapuri in New Delhi, is scheduled for inauguration on October 2, 2016.
