Victor discussed three of the available online backup solutions. In addition he showed Dropbox, which is only a repository for a few gigabytes of files. He showed the differences between; Mozy, CrashPlan, and Carbonite. Mozy offers two options: MozyHome, and MozyPro. The plans they offer are not very flexible. Mozy Home comes in two flavors; 1 computer for $5.99/month which gives you 50 GB of storage, or 3 computers for $9.99/month, which gives you 125 GB of storage. Either plan allows you to buy extra storage at the rate of $2.00 for each 20 GB. MozyPro, is for business use, and offers more features, but it cost more per GB of storage. To learn more about Mozy go to: http://mozy.com/. Carbonite, and CrashPlan, each offer unlimited plans. With these you get a yearly plan. Carbonite's unlimited plans start at $59.00/year, while CrashPlan's un- limited plans start at $36.00/year. The features of each of these services are too lengthy to discuss in this article. If you want to learn more about them go to: http://www.carbo- nite.com/en/ for Carbonite and http://www.crashplan.com/ for CrashPlan.
