TO BE AN ELIGIBLE VOTER FOR THE AUGUST 3, 2021 PRIMARY/SPECIAL ELECTION, YOU MUST REGISTER TO VOTE, CHANGE YOUR NAME, OR CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS BY JULY 6, 2021 VOTER ELIGIBILITY: TO QUALIFY TO REGISTER TO VOTE, YOU MUST BE: 1) A citizen of the United States. 2) 18 years of age on or before the day of the next general election. 3) A resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election. 4) Not declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court. 5) Not incarcerated (in jail or prison) for a felony conviction under the laws of Ohio, any other state, or the United States. 6) Not permanently disenfranchised for violations of election laws. Visit our website, www.summitcountyboe.gov/voters, click on the Online Voter Registration link and complete the form to register or update your current registration online. You may also download a voter registration form, complete the form and mail it to the address listed below. MONDAY-FRIDAY OR Any established permanent voter registration location throughout Summit County. These include: 1) Any public high school or vocational school. 2) At the office of any Bureau of Motor Vehicles. 3) At offices of designated agencies which provide public assistance or disability programs. 4) The County Fiscal Officer’s office. 5) Any public library in Summit County.
