Publicado por: Juventud Rebelde El seleccionador de fútbol de España, Vicente del Bosque, ofreció este lunes una lista sin sorpresas para los próximos compromisos internacionales y defendió su derecho a llamar «a los mejores mientras no estén de baja». España jugará el sábado un amistoso ante Inglaterra en Wembley y después viajará a San José para medirse el martes ante Costa Ria, encuentros para los cuales recuperó a Jesús Navas y Nacho Mha. A cambio, se cayeron futbolistas como Pedro y Alvaro Negredo, ambos lesionados, mientras Thiago Alcántara jugará con la sub 21. Además, el joven lateral Jordi Alba repitió convocatoria por segunda ocasión consecutiva. El técnico español es consciente de que recibirá críticas por llevarse a jugadores que arrastran carga de partidos, pero defendió su decisión: «Mientras no estén de baja, tenemos que traer a los mejores». De alguna forma, Del Bosque se puso la venda antes de que surgiera la herida. «Estamos dentro del calendario internacional. Sólo hemos jugado cinco partidos internacionales desde el verano y ninguno ha jugado los 90 minutos de cada partido. No creo que sea una perturbación para los clubes los minutos que han jugado», analizó. Del Bosque tiene varios problemas por resolver y pocos partidos para "experimentar". Uno de los debates más importantes sobre la confección del equipo se centra en la defensa, y especialmente en los laterales. Así, Del Bosque continúa su "casting" de defensas izquierdos y Alba repite convocatoria a pesar de que últimamente actuó en el Valencia como interior. Mientras, Sergio Ramos se afianzó en el Real Madrid como un central de plenas garantías y Del Bosque deberá resolver si mantiene esa posición en la selección o si lo utiliza como lateral, puesto en el que ganó Eurocopa y Mundial. «Alba y Ramos son capaces de jugar en varios sitios. A algunos Ramos les gustará más de central y a otros de lateral. Lo importante es que estén en activo y concentrados. El puesto ideal de Ramos es cualquiera de los dos. Puede jugar en cualquier posición con excelente rendimiento», analizó Del Bosque. El seleccionador también tuvo palabras amables para Iker Casillas, quien está a un solo partido de igualar a Andoni Zubizarreta, el jugador con más internacionalidades en la historia de la selección española. «Cuando los jugadores se meten en esta barrera de los 30 años, lo mejor que debe tener es un buen comportamiento con el grupo. Casillas nos ha dado pruebas de su generosidad y si hay que destacar algo es la máxima concentración que tiene en todos los partidos que disputa», destacó. Una vez transcurridos estos dos partidos internacionales, a Del Bosque sólo le quedará una prueba más antes de ofrecer la lista de convocados para la Eurocopa.
