A Very Comprehensive List of Isle of Wight Accommodation As a Pdf File ACCOMMODATION DETAILS AND PRICE RANGE This table makes no promisses to be an accurate guide to prices or availablility and is an aid for visitors to find accommodation. Many venues are full already but there is an abundance of cottages and camp sites that would offer a group good accomodation for a budget price. For a common standard, all accommodation has been graded on a price for a week for two people. This makes no allowance for single rooms, cottage or camps where there would not be a ''single day tennancy '' available. It is the aim of the Classic Beer and Bus Weekend for the visitor to enjoy the benefits of our beutiful Island other that through the bottom of a glass and there are many 3 - 4 day breaks avaialable to take advantage of this. To promote the break, the Southern Vectis Bus Company offer a special 5 day Rover ticket (with a programme) and many pubs are now embracing the extended ''four day''weekend as a way to promote trade. Hotels generally have a bar but only those who are recognised as ''open bars'' are indicated separately. Where there is uncertantty about the numer of room, generally ''5+'' indicates the lowest estimated rooms or any ''+'' number in ''rooms'' is an estimate LOCATION To give some indication of the location of the accomodation, a basic idicater based on 1 mile, shows that the accommodation is (''0'' adjacent to a Beer and Bus venue.) (1-, 1 or 1+, using a mile as a guide, less, about or more than a mile to the roue).     Bembridge Design Character Appraisal January 2014 INTRODUCTION The 2003 Bembridge Village Design Statement (VDS) is now out of date due to the accompanying development plan policies being superseded by the National Planning Policy Framework and the Island Plan Core Strategy. As part of the preparation of the Bembridge Neighbourhood Development Plan, this Design Character Appraisal document has been produced by the Working Group to identify the design characteristics of development throughout the Parish. The document draws on information contained in the VDS but is presented in an updated form. The Design Character Appraisal document is intended to be used to inform planning applications for proposed development on the design characteristics within the Bembridge Parish and is to be used in conjunction with the Island Plan Core Strategy and the Bembridge Neighbourhood Development Plan and the IW Council’s Bembridge Conservation Area Appraisal. Dog attack on 3 Deer… During the weekend of 9th and 10th November, 3 Deer’s (2 Fawns and a calf) were killed, it’s believed by a loose dog. The new owners of Isle of Wight Deer Farm and the Island Country Watch team, are urging dog walkers to keep control of their dogs at all times especially near to any livestock. UPDATE….. Another Deer has been killed at the same location on the evening of 20th November. It’s believed to be another dog attack. The farmer is taking further steps to prevent happening again.
