BROWNE Grisham Makes Play-by-Play Debut, While Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Cruz and Melendez Serve as Desk Analysts LOS ANGELES – Don’t blink when top-ranked heavyweights clash at UFC FIGHT NIGHT: LEWIS VS. BROWNE live on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Sunday, Feb. 19 (9:00 PM ET) live from Halifax, Canada. Todd Grisham (@GrishamMMA) makes his blow-by-blow announcer debut alongside retired middleweight Brian Stann (@BrianStann) to call the fights live on FS1, while UFC bantamweight Erik "Goyito" Perez (@Goyito_Perez) and Victor Davila (@mastervic10) are the Spanish language broadcast team on FOX Deportes. Former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz (@DominickCruz) and lightweight contender Gilbert Melendez (@GilbertMelendez) work as desk analysts with host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) for the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT and POSTFIGHT SHOWS from FOX Sports’ Los Angeles Studios. Reporter Heidi Androl (@HeidiAndrol) interviews fighters. FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: LEWIS VS. BROWNE is headlined by an explosive heavyweight matchup as No. 8-ranked heavyweight Derrick Lewis (17-4, 1NC) and No. 9-ranked Travis Browne (18-5-1) collide in the five-round main event. On the fast track to the top of the division, Houston’s Lewis has won five straight bouts, with four of those victories coming by way of knockout. Now, Lewis faces the tough veteran Browne, who has knocked out the likes of Alistair Overeem, Josh Barnett and Stefan Struve. FOX UFC analyst Kenny Florian believes the allure of Lewis vs. Browne is simple: “Who doesn’t like to watch two gigantic men throw down? Both of these guys have crazy knockout power, they’re both finishers and both need a win.” Watch a preview of the fight from last Saturday’s FS1 UFC 208 POSTFIGHT SHOW here. Also on Saturday night, No. 10-ranked welterweight Johny Hendricks (17-5) moves up to middleweight to face veteran Hector Lombard (34-6-1, 2NC) in an explosive co-main event. Featherweights Sam Sicilia (15-7) and Gavin Tucker (9-0) square off, while middleweight Elias Theodorou (12-1) faces Cezar Ferreira (12-5). The No. 7-ranked bantamweight Sara McMann (10-3) faces Gina Mazany (4-0), while lightweights Paul Felder (12-3) and Alessandro Ricci (10- 4) are featured in the main card opener. The two-hour UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS on FS1 and FOX Deportes begin at 7:00 PM ET and feature four bouts. Nordine Taleb (11-3) and Santiago Ponzinibbio (24-3) collide in a welterweight battle. The No. 3-ranked strawweight Carla Esparza (12-3) fights Randa Markos (6-5). Undefeated Aiemann Zahabi (6-0) faces Reginaldo Vieira (14-4) in a bantamweight fight. Plus, Jack Marshman (21-5) and Thiago Santos (13-5) open the PRELIMS with a middleweight bout. Sunday’s coverage begins on FS1 (5:30 PM ET) with a special 90-minute FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW hosted by Bryant, with analysts Cruz and Melendez. The action wraps up after the main event with the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW. The FS1 UFC WEIGH-IN SHOW takes place on Saturday, Feb. 18 (4:00 PM ET) on FS2 with the same studio crew.
