ABOUT MIDWEST

Founded in 1977, Topeka’s Ballet Midwest is comprised of 57 company dancers and 38 junior company dancers. The company presents a full- length each spring. Over 100 local auxiliary dancers join the company to present a full-length Nutcracker Ballet in December, a holiday tradition for northeast Kansas residents.

Ballet Midwest is committed to preserving the art of ballet, sharing a passion for dance and educating all generations through experiences such as a free full-length Nutcracker performance for area MIDWEST fourth-graders and other area organizations, school BalletArtistry & Passion in Motion tours, performances for businesses and community events, hosting master classes for students from Get Involved any area studio, and more. • Become a member.
