Taurus Ascendant – Forecasts for 2018 Taurus Ascendant – Forecasts for 2018 Main Transits Your 1st and 6th house ruler, Venus, is retrograde between October 5th – November 16th in your 7th and 6th house Your 8th house ruler, Jupiter, is in your 7th house from January until November 8th and moves in your 8th house starting with November 9th Your 9th house ruler, Saturn, is in your 9th house You 10th house ruler, Uranus, moves into your 1st house from May 15th until November 7th Your 12th house ruler, Mars, is retrograde between June 26th – August 27th in your 10th and 9th house The North Node is in your 4th house until November 6th and in your 3rd house from November 7th The two total lunar eclipses take place in your 4th and 10th house The Overall Climate of 2018 2018 is a very important year for you, because Uranus, the planet of change and liberation enters your 1st house. Moreover, you have Jupiter and the lunar nodes in cardinal houses, indicating big changes in all major areas of your life. In the coming year your focus areas will be re-inventing yourself, your family life and your relationships. Your career, your work, your money will become less important because you will put all your energy on what matters the most to you – your partner, your family, your home. Your popularity can improve, so if you work in the area of show bizz, entertainment, if you are an author, 2018 will be a fantastic year for you. Your will find a sense of liberation, you will be more open to embrace your uniqueness, you will finally find a sense of security deep inside, which in turn, will set you free. Education, pursuing studies, going to university, traveling, are all favoured in 2018. You can get admitted into a prestigious institution, go back to school, decide to take a year off from work and go backpacking – anything related to expanding your horizons can benefit you greatly. Now is a great time to come with some new long term goals which are more in line with who you are. If your goals have not been realistic in the past, now is time to readjust them, and to come up with some new goals which you can actually achieve. Your partner, or a teacher can support you in your endeavour. Partnerships in general are favoured in 2018. You will be much more outgoing, and as a result, your social circle will expand. If single, you can have not only one, but more opportunities to start a relationship. In business, 2018 is the best time to collaborate with others vs. trying to do everything by yourself. Whether you are single or in a relationship, this year you will be much more interested in a relationship that fulfils you at a deep, intimate level. Your sexual life will improve in both quantity, and quality. Some lovers from the past can come back into your life by the end of the year - you can decide to either give the relationship another go, or you can finally achieve the much needed closure. Your family life, your relationships with parents can improve. In 2018 you can decide to relocate, to change or refurbish your home, or to invest in real estate. Overall, your personal life will become more important than your public life. Astrology Forecasts, Month-by-Month January: Your desire to go for an adventure, to expand your horizons can bring you to unexpected places in January. You can either travel to faraway places, start a new education, or meet new people with different cultural backgrounds than yours. Anything that is exotic will bring joy and fulfilment to your life. At the end of the month, you can have a big event related to your home or family: you can make some changes at home, decide to move or buy a new house, start a new project with a family member, or welcome a new family member. February: Some of the decisions you made in January will ask you to adjust some aspects of your social life. You can make some changes at the workplace, change some of your responsibilities to leave more space for your personal life, or you can decide to leave or join some groups, causes or communities which better reflect your new interests. Your source of income, or some of your possessions will come under revision – you may decide to let go or sell some items you own, for example. February is a very social month overall so plan the parties, housewarming parties or other group activities in February. March: There could be some changes or endings related to your job or to your income. March is a good time to focus on yourself, to isolate yourself from the world, to work on your mind-set. You can now identify some self-sabotaging behaviours which have limited your capacity to achieve financial abundance in the past. March is a good time to travel to far away or isolated places, where you can reflect on your values and overall outlook on life. April: In April, your energy level will rise up. This is the silence before the storm. Be careful not to rush in making any big decisions, at least not in the first half of the month, when Mercury is still retrograde. One of your siblings or co-workers can decide to relocate – this unexpected turn of events can inspire you to make a change in your life, too. Again, activities related to long-term studies, learning new things, signing contracts, law or official institutions will come into focus in April. Resist the temptation to sign a contract or make big purchases in the first half of the month. May: This is the most important month of the year for you, because Uranus moves into your first house. With Uranus, it is difficult to predict what type of changes you can expect – it will likely be something that never crossed your mind. May is the month of surprises! Unless you have a really bad karma, the changes that will come will be positive, and will set you free. The change can be related to your career, or to your status. If nothing changes in your life, then your partner’s situation can change, which will force you to adjust as well. Whatever comes into your life right now is particularly important, because it will mark the next 7 years of your life. June: The changes that started in May will become more concrete in June. Right now, there is definitely something about your job, your career that will have to change. You will need to readjust your goals and long term plans. The change might feel like a threat, but trust that the Universe has much better plans for you in sight. Your family in turn, will be a source of joy and happiness. You can move to a new home, welcome a new family member, or simply make more time for loved ones. July: July is probably the most challenging month of the year, and will most likely – again – impact your career or your social status. Although you might be tempted to leave everything behind and start something new, this is not the best time of the year to start a completely new project. You can instead restart some old projects you have abandoned in the past. Although life can be stressful in July, try to make the best of the month by doing things that you love – focus on your hobbies, on your children (if you have any) or on your romantic life. August: If work has not been on the top of your priorities this year, August is the time to focus a bit more on this area of your life. If you have lost your job in the first half of the year, now you can start a new job – but don't officially start it, or try not to sign the contract before 20th of August – this is when Mercury will go direct again. August is overall much better than the previous months – your relationships of all kinds are favoured, and you can become very popular in your circle of friends. September: This month favours collaboration and co-creation. If you start something with another person, either on a personal or professional plan, it will flourish. You can finalize a creative, DYI-type of project, have a child, one of your hobbies can become a source of income and so on. September is a good month for any type of negotiations, trading or business activities. If you already have a business, this can expand; if you don't have a business, you can consider becoming an entrepreneur. October: After a social August and September, now is time again to turn inwards again.

As Professor Otto Neugebauer (1899-1990) wrote in his great work A History of Ancient Mathematical Astronomy : "The natural reference system for the motion of the planets, moon and sun, are the fixed stars..." Once having grasped - through the application of "as above, so below" - that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the celestial sphere and the terrrestrial sphere, such that each place on the Earth corresponds to a star in the heavens, there is no other possibility for understanding the zodiac than in terms of the stars making up the signs of the zodiac. By way of illustration, returning again to the correspondence between Vienna and Aldebaran, there was a time when Vienna, under the Hapsburg dynasty, was the center of Europe. This perfectly mirrored the central position of Aldebaran in Taurus. As shown in Robert Powell's Ph.D. thesis, published in book form under the title History of the Zodiac , the original definition of the zodiac made by the Babylonians early in the fifth century BC was specified by the two first magnitude stars Aldebaran at the center of Taurus and Antares in the middle of Scorpio such that the zodiacal locations of Aldebaran and Antares were defined to be 15 degrees Taurus and 15 degrees Scorpio. Once this central axis running through the middle of the signs of Taurus and Scorpio was defined by these two stars, the longitudes in the 30 degree divisions known as signs of other bright stars in the twelve zodiacal constellations could be ascertained.

Her Story Andromeda was a princess from a region in Africa. Her parents were rulers, her mother was Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia believed that she was so beautiful, even more beautiful than all of the sea nymphs around. This upset Poseidon, the ruler of the sea. He sent a giant sea monster named Cetus to destroy the region where Andromeda’s parents ruled. They were promised to have their region spared if they sacrificed Andromeda, their daughter. They chained Andromeda to a rock and there she stayed until she was rescued. Perseus who was riding his horse, Pegasus, was flying high in the skies above and swooped down to save Andromeda, in return turning Cetus into stone. YOU SHOULD KNOW • Andromeda’s stars aren’t very bright. • Andromeda contains the Andromeda Galaxy, it’s very similar to the Milk Way Galaxy. • It’s a spiral galaxy that contains over 200 billion stars, as well as a double star. A Dog’s Story Apollo, the God of the Sun, did not think that his sister, Artemis (the Goddess of the Moon), was doing her job at night lighting the sky because she was too busy thinking about Orion.
