He also featured in all 11 playoff games for the Flames in 2014-15 where he had four points (3G, 1A) and eight PIMs.

AN IMPRESSIVE RETURN: Calgary enjoyed the return of forward Kris Versteeg in Wednesday’s game after the 30-year-old had missed nine games with a groin injury. Versteeg made his impact felt when he smoothly set up Troy Brouwer’s game winning goal against the Blue Jackets. The Lethbridge, Alberta native now has five points (2G, 3A) and is a +5 in 2016-17.

He brings 15 years of coaching experience to the club, including two as a head coach in the NHL and, most recently, serving as an assistant coach in Vancouver for three seasons. Prior to serving the Canucks, the 45-year-old was the head coach of the Dallas Stars for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons and before that, he led the ’s for two years. In 2009-10, he took the AHL’s Stars to the finals. Gulutzan took over as head coach for the East Coast Hockey League’s in the 2003-04 campaign.
