However, because of the sheer numbers of anime adaptations, only a few titles will be discussed and analysed in this research. These anime titles have however, very different approaches and will give the reader a general idea as to how anime as an adaption works. The research will begin with introduction on anime and manga, in order for the reader to understand the context of this research better. It will then be constructed into chapters. Each chapter will begin with discussing the anime’s original source, then the anime itself.
