Research projects: 1- Assessment of Amoidarone-induced thyroid dysfunction and its association to thyroid autoantibody )anti TPO and serum level of amiodarone. 2- Assessment of sex hormones, gondadotropins, thyroid hormones, vitamin B12, homocystein and folic acid in patients with Alzheimer's disease and comparison with control group. 3- Assessment of antioxidant effect of Alpha-lipoic acid on blood pressure and insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. 4- Comparison of low glycemic and low fat diet regimens on reduction of weight, fat mass, insulin level and leptin in obese patient who referred to Motahari Clinic of Shiraz. 5- Comparison of changes of serum levels of Vit B12, homocysteine and folic acid in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus before and after treatment with metformin.
