You May Have Seen Us At... a Message from Lucas Piatt September 25, 2017 Vol. 1, No. 1 A Message From Lucas Piatt Welcome to our first Millcraft company newsletter! With the hectic nature of our recent growth, interesting news can sometimes be lost along the way. We hope this collection of updates and announcements is helpful and informative. Everyone within the Millcraft family should know what is in the project pipeline, and have the ability to throw out the “30-second elevator pitch.” You, the Millcraft team member, is our best asset and our best salesperson. This year, Millcraft is acknowledging its 60th year. Beginning as a steel company in 1957, Millcraft has become one of the region’s most recognized real estate developers; not the biggest, but among the best. We encourage you to follow Millcraft on social media and the news page for interesting archive finds. As we round out 2017, Millcraft is rapidly moving forward with exciting projects. Starting this month, we are taking pre-sale reservations for Lumière, a new condominium project in Downtown Pittsburgh. Home prices are starting in the mid-$200s, with sales managed by our newest and very exciting venture, Piatt Sotheby’s International Realty. The second Piatt Sotheby’s International Realty office opened in September, with more locations opening soon in Sewickley and Southpointe before the year’s end. The brand new Home2 Suites hotel in Beaver is due to open in October, and the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe, our very first hotel venture, will be receiving some needed renovations this fall. Our largest vision to date, The Esplanade, which will be located on the North Shore of the city, is currently being designed and plans are developing quickly. We will be releasing those details as soon as possible to the public. Thank you all for being part of our hardworking and visionary organization; success is never achieved alone. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you at the December holiday party Downtown at Roost! You May Have Seen Us At... • For Immediate Release: Lumière
Chelsea Peluso, Public Relations Manager FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: [email protected] 412-304-1520 LUMIÈRE COMING TO DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH (Pittsburgh, PA) – On Thursday, November 9, 2017, Millcraft Investments and McKnight Realty partners officially launched and opened pre-sales to Lumière residences, a new 86-unit condominium project in downtown Pittsburgh. “This project represents the first new home ownership opportunity since Piatt Place,” said Lucas Piatt, Owner and COO of Millcraft Investments. “We’ve seen this type of project be successful before, in a much different economic climate, in a much different downtown, Pittsburgh corridor, and in a much different housing market. We are confident this will be another success.” Presented to the Pittsburgh Planning Commission in late October, and passed by the board this week, plans for the project include nine floors of condominiums and a new parking garage. Phase One, the 350 Oliver Parking Garage, will open later this month. Located at the former Saks Fifth Avenue department store site, Lumière echoes similarities to Piatt Place. In the decade since its completion, Piatt Place is now a bustling mixed-use development and home to Piatt Place condominiums, The Capital Grille and The Goddard School, among others. The $38 million Lumière project will include a rooftop deck, state of the art amenities, open floor plans, dog park, and floor to ceiling windows on every floor with the option to add on folding glass wall technology creating an open-air living space. One, two and three-bedroom options will be available and eleven different floor plans, with terraces available on the eighth floor.
