Imta Alum Ashley Greene in Christmas on My Mind and Bombshell IMTA ALUM ASHLEY GREENE IN CHRISTMAS ON MY MIND AND BOMBSHELL IMTA Press Release December 18, 2019 Christmas on My Mind airs Thursday, December 19 on Hallmark Channel Bombshell is in theatres nationwide beginning Thursday evening, December 19 “I had a blast and I’m really, really thankful to be a part of the film. I think it’s something that everyone needs to see and it’s a fantastic film. I’m really, really proud of it.” — Ashley Greene on Bombshell Fans of IMTA alum Ashley Greene get a double-dose of her talent this week in two completely different roles. Joining the lineup of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas movies is Christmas on My Mind, in which Greene stars as Lucy alongside Andrew Walker as her ex-boyfriend Zac, and Jackée Harry as Dr. Caroline Albright. When Lucy wakes up with a wedding dress in hand, she believes that she is late to her wedding with her ex-boyfriend Zac. However, she has no recollection of the past 2 years, including the fact that she is engaged to another man. With Zac’s help, Lucy sets off on an adventure in Bedford Harbor to fill the gaps in her memory, and finds old romantic feelings reigniting during the Christmas season. Greene also takes on the role of former Fox News personality Abby Huntsman in the feature film Bombshell, which deals with the real-life harrowing experiences of women at Fox News and their harassment by CEO Roger Ailes. John Lithgow takes on the role of Ailes with Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Margot Robbie as producer Kayla Pospisil, and Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly. Allison Janney plays trailblazing feminist lawyer Susan Estrich, with Kate McKinnon, Mark Duplass and Alice Eve also featured. Elisabeth Rohm and Spencer Garrett appear as Fox News hosts Martha MacCallum and Sean Hannity, and Alanna Ubach plays Fox News host Jeanine Pirro. “It was just like what you would imagine stepping onto that set. It was like I’d never been on a set before,” Greene said in an interview with HollywoodLife. “I walked on and was just like, ‘Wow, this is incredible.’ It was incredible to be surrounded by such strong, powerful women delivering such a strong, powerful message.” Over the last year, Greene has been steadily working on several projects. She recently completed filming a role in Blackjack: The Jacky Ryan Story, an independent feature based on a true story about the Brooklyn-native street basketball legend Jackie Ryan. Greg Finley, Brandon Thomas Lee and David Arquette also star. No release date has been announced. Greene also recently completed voicing the character of Rachel in another independent feature, Max & Me. The animated movie tells the true story of Polish priest Maximilian Kolbe and the incredible challenges he faced during the Nazi invasion of Poland during World War II. For his role in protecting Jews from Nazi persecution, Kolbe was sent to the Auschwitz death camp where he volunteered to die in place of a stranger. The story unfolds through a present-day encounter of an older man and a rebellious teenager, using the story of Father Max to teach lessons of love and sacrifice. Hector Elizondo, Piotr Adamcyzk and David Henrie also voice characters in the film, which does not yet have a theatrical release date. Greene is currently filming the thriller Aftermath with Shawn Ashmore. No plot has been announced for the film, which is scheduled to be released in 2020. – IMTA – .

  • June 2015 Honoring M
The Schwarz Report Dr. Fred Schwarz Volume 55, Number 6 Dr. David Noebel June 2015 Honoring M. Stanton Evans by Cliff Kincaid Those who assembled on March 12 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, Virginia, to celebrate the life of conservative thinker and writer M. Stanton Evans heard several references to his monumental 1994 work, The Theme is Freedom. This book is worth remembering and re-reading as we are being treated repeatedly to the spectacle in the media of “conservatives” endorsing gay rights and gay marriage. In an illustration of what Stan called the “pagan ethic,” he cites on page 128 “the campaign to change societal views of homosexuality—to treat it as an ‘alternative lifestyle,’ as valid in its way as heterosexual conduct.” Stan comments, “Among other things, this is a reversion to pagan ways of thinking.” He cites acceptance of homosexuality in ancient civilizations such as Babylon and notes, “All of this was unequivocally condemned by the religion of the Bible.” Yet, as Austin Ruse points out in his Breitbart article, “GOP Elite Ask Supreme Court to Impose Gay Marriage on America,” a brief to celebrate homosexual “marriage” as equal to traditional marriage has been submitted to the court and signed by 300 conservatives and/or Republicans, including no less than 26 former senior Mitt Romney staffers. These so-called “conservatives,” who are not conservative in any real sense, are part of a “Project Right Side” that is designed to confuse the public about the meaning of the term. The “media” section of the website tells us how news organizations have covered the “conservative case for gay marriage.” But there is nothing “conservative” about asking the Supreme Court to impose homosexual marriage on all 50 states.

And I'd like to welcome you to today's event on Campaign Leadership. We are webcasting today's events. We would like to welcome those of you who are watching via the Internet. We also have CSPAN with us today. We will be live tweeting the event using the hashtag #BILeader, that's BILeader. So, any of you who wish to post comments or ask questions during the event, please do so and during the Q & A period we will take questions both from our live audience here as well as our virtual audience. The question about leadership has been a big part of the 2012 elections. A Presidential Candidate's conduct offers insight into his leadership style and approach to management. So, the questions we'll be looking at today is how does the 2012 Presidential Campaign shed light on the leadership qualities of President Obama and Governor Romney? And what does a campaign experience as we've seen it so far indicate about their approach to management and governance? Today, we've assembled an outstanding panel of speakers to help us analyze these questions.

  • April 11, 2013 to the Voting Members of the Republican National Committee: on Behalf Of
www.FreedomMeansFreedom.org April 11, 2013 To the voting members of the Republican National Committee: On behalf of Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry, many of us working for the Republican Party and some of us holding official Party positions, we are disturbed by the resolution condemning the freedom of samesex couples to marry that is pending before the Republican National Committee. We ask you to reject this resolution. The resolution comes at a time when the stated goal of the RNC is to initiate growth in all 50 states. The language contained in this document is objectionable and offends most Americans. The references it cites regarding the adequacy of gay and lesbian parents have been demonstrated to be entirely bogus by every major independent study conducted by national clinical and psychological associations. This kind of junk science is demeaning to the honest and sincere advocates on both sides of this issue. Republicans must take a new approach. We can’t allow government discrimination of our fellow gay and lesbian citizens. We can’t hypocritically support this intrusion of Big Government into the private and peaceful lives of our family members, friends, and neighbors. We agree that marriage is “the solid foundation upon which our society is built and in which children thrive.” This important institution is strengthened when we allow samesex couples to share in the lifetime commitment of love and support that marriage represents. More and more Americans are moving toward this realization. A recent ABC poll found that 52% of Republicans and GOPleaning independents under the age of 50 supported the freedom to marry.

Wout Vergauwen (00904628) Master of Arts in American Studies Supervisor Prof. Dr. Ken Kennard SOCIAL REALIGNMENT ON THE RIGHT ARE CONSERVATIVES NOW SUPPORTING SAME-SEX MARRIAGE? Master paper submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in American Studies Academic year 2013 – 2014 Wout Vergauwen (00904628) Social realignment on the Right Academic year 2013 – 2014 ABSTRACT The position of same-sex marriage in the United States is seen by many as the civil rights struggle of the twenty first century. Though the confrontation between supporters and opponents of same- sex marriage used to be divided by ideology; anno 2014, support is to be found on both sides of the political aisle. Consequently, this has moved the debate away from the classic confrontation between progressives and conservatives. More interesting today is the debate within political – and ideological – conservatism. Using the narratives of media pundits S.E. Cupp, Glenn Beck, and Ann Coulter, Congresswomen Michele Bachmann, former Vice-President Dick Cheney and GOP affiliated organizations Log Cabin Republicans and GOProud, the reader is presented an overview of the dominant arguments on the right. A thorough analysis of these narratives in comparison to both each other and scholarly literature, serves as the argumentation to determine whether same- sex marriage is causing a realignment on the right. Ultimately, this not only begs the question as to how the institution of marriage ought to be defined, it also gives an insight on how American conservatism should be understood within contemporary society.
