White Jura whites come in two styles - ouillé or ‘topped up’, and sous voile, meaning oxiditatively aged under a ‘veil’ of yeast.

These varieties coupled with the Jura’s terroir and climate tends to yield delicate, perfumed and bright wines coupled with an earthiness and rusticity that is so compelling. Of course there are exceptions, Trousseau in particular also lending itself to full-bodied, structured and age-worthy wines.
