Press Release Number 42 / 2016 The Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth arrives at the Autodromo of Vallelunga for the fifth round of 2016 After the weekend at Mugello on 15/16/17 of July and the subsequent Summer break, the single-seaters are back on track today, September 9. Saturday September 10 and Sunday the 11th sees qualifying and the races Rome 9/9/2016 – The fifth of seven weekends of the 2016 Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth season, will be disputed at the Vallelunga Autodromo. Despite the fact we have passed the halfway mark of the season, the championship is still to be decided and for this reason the three races will be as uncertain as they were at the start of the season. • As always, points from all three races will be awarded for all classes of the championship; outright, the Rookie Trophy, the Women's Trophy and the Team's Trophy. The outright leader of the championship is Marcos Surgery, followed by Mick Schumacher, Raul Guzman, Maurizio Baiz and Job Van Uitert. Simone Cunati leads the Rookie Trophy ahead of Kush Maini, Juri Vips, Lorenzo Colombo and Juan Manuel Correa. In the teams championship Jenzer Motorsport is ahead, followed by Prema Power Team, Kftzeile24 Mucke Motorsport, DR Formula and Antonelli Motorsport. The Women's Trophy is led by Fabienne Wohlwend. Race 1 is on Saturday at 15:25, with Race 2 and 3 at 9:00 and 14:40 respectively on Sunday. • The races will be broadcast live on Sportitalia (Channel 60 digital and 225 on Sky) on tv nationally.
