Visitor and Admission Information The following COVID-19 precautions apply to all admissions, parents/carers and visitors to Allowah We continue to adjust our visiting and admission restrictions in light of advice from New South Wales Health. Effective immediately, the following will apply. Can I visit Allowah? 1. No. From 6pm 26 June 2021 until restrictions ease, there will be no visitors allowed at Allowah. The only exceptions are for parents and carers on compassionate or essential care grounds. These visits must be approved in advance by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) following a risk assessment. If you arrive at Allowah without prior approval from the ELT you will be denied access. You must call at least 24 hours in advance so that a risk assessment can be conducted before you come. We send an email detailing any changes to the Screening Form each time a change takes place. Special conditions will be placed on any parent or carer given access under these provisions and these must be adhered to. Staff will be advised for each individual visit what these conditions are. Visiting Clearance If the ELT conducts a risk assessment and the conclusion is that visiting will be authorised in line with NSW Health guidelines, you will be sent a letter that outlines the decision and the visiting requirements. You must show this letter to the Allowah staff member conducting your COVID-19 Screening temperature check on arrival. Please note, access may be revoked if NSW Health advises changes to restrictions. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. Essential care visitors are prohibited if they live in the following local government areas: • Canterbury/Bankstown • Blacktown • Fairfield • Parramatta • Cumberland • Campbelltown • Liverpool • Georges River 06/0/2021 (1) All essential care visits for other LGAs are to be approved in advance by a member of the ELT. Can my child come to the School Holiday or Weekend Day program? 2. Not as a day program. Our School Holiday and weekend day programs have been cancelled for children not admitted to the hospital due to the lockdown in place from 26 June 2021 until restrictions ease. Children admitted to Allowah for overnight stays may still take part in the School Holiday and Weekend Programs. Can my child be admitted to Allowah? 3. Yes, providing they meet the screening criteria. Admissions are allowed for medical reasons and for respite on the condition that the child meets the criteria on the Admission Screening form. Parents and carers admitting a child must truthfully declare that they and the child have not been to any of the specific locations listed, that they are not waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test result, that they do not have and have not had any of COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days, and that they have not been in close contact with anyone who has been to any of the locations listed, who is waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test or who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days. They and their child must also have their temperature checked and it must be below 37.5 degrees. 4. No admission will be made for a child excluded by the Admission Screening Form at the time of admission. 5. If you live in any restricted LGAs they cannot be admitted. If your child has already been admitted they can stay, if they go home, they cannot return at present until the restrictions change. Currently restricted LGAs include: • Canterbury/Bankstown • Blacktown • Fairfield • Parramatta • Cumberland • Campbelltown • Liverpool • Georges River 06/0/2021 (1) No gate passes are to be granted for children going to Canterbury/Bankstown, Fairfield, Cumberland, Liverpool, Blacktown, Parramatta, Campbelltown and Georges River 6. If you or your child have been to any of the case locations in the following States and Territories they cannot be admitted: Western Australia COVID-19 case locations There are currently multiple COVID-19 case locations in the Western Australia (WA) If you have been in WA in the last 14 days regularly check the list of COVID-19 venues of concern on the WA Government website and follow the public health requirements for testing and self-isolation. Restricted LGAs in Western Australia include the Perth Metropolitan area and the Peel Region. Victorian COVID-19 case locations There are multiple COVID-19 case locations in Victoria. If you have been in Victoria since 17 July 2021, you cannot come to work regularly check the growing list of COVID-19 venues of concern on the Victorian Government website and follow the public health requirements for testing and self- isolation. Queensland COVID-19 case locations If you have been in Queensland in the last 14 days regularly check the list of COVID-19 venues of concern on the Queensland Government website and follow the public health requirements for testing and self-isolation. Current Queensland restricted LGAs include Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim. South Australia COVID-19 case locations There are currently multiple COVID-19 case locations in the South Australia (SA) If you have been in SA since the 20th July – no entry, regularly check the list of COVID-19 venues of concern on the SA Government website and follow the public health requirements for testing and self-isolation. 7. If you or your child have travelled from anywhere overseas in the last 14 days, they cannot be admitted. 06/0/2021 (1) 8. Whilst we acknowledge and support the exciting opportunities arising from the proposed Master Plan across various asset classes, we are concerned that the retail component of the proposed Master Plan has not been given proper consideration. It is our assessment that the delivery of the retail portion of the proposed Master Plan would potentially result in unacceptable impacts on shopping centres across the trade area including the Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre. To assist Mirvac Real Estate Pty Ltd in formulating its view the owners of the Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre (Mirvac Property Trust and Perron Investments Pty Ltd) commissioned Leyshon Consulting to prepare an assessment of the proposed amendment to the Masterplan, a copy of the report is attached. The Leyshon report 1. Challenges the validity of some key assumptions in the Hill PDA report 2. Identifies the potential impact of the retail Master Plan on surrounding centres as being a very high level of impact which we maintain is unacceptable 3. Outlines further analysis required to substantiate the Master Plan 4. Recommends that the proposed amendment to the Master Plan not proceed in its current form We submit that the retail component of the Master Plan should not proceed until the appropriate analysis has been undertaken and made available to the public.
