LOS ANGELES - Loyola Marymount shot 52.6 percent for the game and held off a late rally to post a 76-64 win over UNLV on Dec. 15 from Los Angeles, Calif. The Lady Rebels saw their four- game win streak snapped as they dropped to 5-2 on the season, while LMU moved to 7-1 for the year. After a three-pointer from Sheena Moore brought UNLV within four, 49-45, the Lady Rebels hit a scoring drought. Just when it looked like LMU had the game in hand, UNLV ran off eight straight points on a Moore trey, a jumper from RanDee Henry, and a three- point play from Moore to again cut the lead to four, 59-55 with 4:59 on the clock. The Lions held strong however, responding by scoring nine of the next 10 points to put the game away, taking a 68-56 advantage with 2:35 left in the game. Loyola Marymount began the game on fire, hitting seven of its first 10 shots on the way to building a 25-14 lead.
