August 31: Arrival – Palermo Upon arrival in Sicily we (Rosella and Gianca) will be very happy to greet you at the Falcone e Borsellino Airport (Palermo, PMO). We will have a direct transfer (39 km - 24 miles) to your 4- star hotel in the historic center of Palermo, the capital of Sicily in the Northern coast of the island, a town that boasts more than 2,700 years of history, art and culture. We will check-in at the hotel and spend some time at leisure (*) according to the arrival time. 07.00 pm: we will meet again in the hotel lobby; after a nice evening stroll (10 minutes walking) we will reach a beautiful roof bar facing the church of San Domenico! We will enjoy an aperitif while admiring the gorgeous church from above. During the aperitif we will explain you in more details your 13 night/14 day tour of Sicily. Then we will enjoy a welcome dinner based on the traditional Sicilian cuisine in a nice restaurant in the historic center of Palermo. September 1: Palermo – Gala Dinner at Francavilla Palace Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. 09.00 am: we will meet in the hotel lobby and start the guided walking tour of the historic center of Palermo, following the incredible Arab-Norman circuit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, considered an “open air museum”. We will discover many important attractions such as the Cathedral, Piazza Pretoria, “Quattro Canti”, the Ballarò outdoor market, the stunning Massimo Opera House (featured in The Godfather part 3) and many more interesting sites as you make your way through the old city-center of Palermo. Palermo’s heritage is also greatly reflected in the city’s many culinary delights. This cultural walk will give us the opportunity to taste some of Palermo's most unique street foods right in the heart of the city: Palermo is ranked 5th among the world's best cities for quality of street food! You will enjoy some masterpieces such as the famous arancine (rice balls), panelle (chickpea fritters), sfincione (traditional Sicilian pizza) and the delicious pastries made by the nuns of the church of Santa Caterina! Francavilla Palace was built in 1783 and is located in the heart of Palermo, right in front of the Massimo Theater, the 3rd most important Opera House in Europe. His first owner, Duke of Sperlinga and the other successive aristocratic noblemen owner of the palace involved the greatest architects and other talented artists of the 18th and 19th century to enrich the building with wonderful frescoes, paintings, sculptures and other important works from the Liberty period. September 2: Monreale – Montelepre – Mondello – Mt. Pellegrino Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. 09.00 am: we will meet in the hotel lobby and venture off to beautiful Monreale by tour bus (12 km - 7 miles from Palermo). After a Cannolo tasting (a world famous Sicilian dessert) we will visit the magnificent Norman Cathedral, known as one of the best displays of sacred architecture with its stunning painting of Christ Pantocrator, its beautiful Byzantine mosaics and the splendid 12th Century cloister built by the Benedictines. Then we will head to Montelepre (24 km - 15 miles), a village where the famous was born. We will meet some housewives from Montelepre who will share with us the secrets of the most authentic Sicilian culinary tradition and prepare various delicious dishes composing a terrific lunch! After lunch we will have the opportunity to walk inside the ancient village, visiting the Norman tower and the places that made Giuliano a hero among those who intended to achieve the independence of Sicily. We will return to Palermo passing through Mondello, one of the most popular beaches in where we will enjoy a yummy ricotta dessert! Then we will visit the famous church of Santa Rosalia (the famous Patron Saint of Palermo) into a cave of Mt. Pellegrino, the most beautiful mountain in Palermo! September 3: Erice (Guided visit and Cooking Class) – Salt Road – Winery in Marsala Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. 09.00 am: we will meet in the hotel lobby and move to the Westernmost point of Sicily (124 km – 77 miles from Palermo). We will head up to Erice, a beautiful medieval town "suspended in time" at 750 meters – 2200 feet above the sea level. We will walk through the narrow well-kept cobbled streets that lead to the Norman castle and enjoy a splendid view of the Egadi Islands. Finally we will meet Mrs. Grammatico, an elderly woman who is the owner of a famous pastry shop in Erice. We will engage in a hands-on cooking class at her welcoming house. She will instruct us in the preparation of traditional recipes including family cooking secrets and we will learn more about the history of Sicilian cuisine. Since the lunch includes a endless-course Sicilian menu, this is one of the best cooking classes in Sicily... Be ready to enjoy yourself to the fullest! Then we will follow the Salt Road in the Stagnone Nature Reserve and see a stunning surreal environment with pink flamingos, “Saline” (sea salt pans) and windmills. In the afternoon we will be welcomed in a historic winery in Marsala (52 km – 32 miles from Erice) one of the most popular wineries in Italy. September 4: Caccamo – Cefalù 09.00 am: after breakfast at the hotel restaurant we will check-out and depart to Caccamo (52 km – 32 miles from Palermo). We will get out from the classic tourist patterns and breathe the atmosphere of a unique medieval town. In the heart of Caccamo we will have a guided visit of its stunning medieval castle: the “unconquered fortress”, built by Normans directly on a rocky outcrop about 1000 years ago, is the largest in the island and has a breathtaking view on the Rosamarina lake and the Mediterranean sea. Then we will enjoy the delicious sausage from Caccamo in the picturesque restaurant beside the castle... it was the granary of the castle! Then it's off to Cefalù (43 km – 26 miles from Caccamo), a picturesque small medieval town with a lovely beach located on the north coastline of Sicily. After a terrific lunch at a nice restaurant by the sea (we will taste a yummy pasta with fresh fish!) we will enjoy a quick guided visit of the historic center of Cefalù, your home base for the next two nights in Sicily! We will also spend some time walking and shopping through the narrow cobbled streets of the medieval center that lead to the Norman Cathedral, built in 1131. We will enjoy a traditional Sicilian ice cream in front of the Cathedral! Then it's off to check-in at our gorgeous hotel by the sea and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure drinking something while admiring the Mediterranean Sea! September 5: Pollina – Castelbuono – Gangi – – Sicilian theme party dinner 09.00 am: after breakfast at the hotel restaurant we will move to the Madonie Nature Reserve to discover 4 of the most beautiful villages in the north of Sicily. We will visit Pollina (19 km – 11 miles from Cefalù), a small village perched on an isolated hill on the slopes of the Madonie mountains chain. Here, an uncontaminated nature meets the medieval winding streets paved with stone and the houses built right on the cliffs. The lookout will surprise us, offering a great view of the forest below. Then it's off to Castelbuono (13 km – 8 miles from Pollina), a beautiful medieval town famous for its castle (built by the Ventimiglias during the 14th century). We will meet a producer of the famous Sicilian Panettone (a traditional cake) and then enjoy a terrific complete lunch (based on the delicious meat from the Madonie) at a nice “Agriturismo” (farm house) surrounded by unspoiled landscapes. We will also learn how we extract the delicious manna from the trees and how the local “black bees” make the traditional Sicilian honey! Then we will depart to Gangi (36 km – 22 miles), another important small town in the Madonie. This town has recently won two important awards: "Example of Italian good living" and "Italy's most beautiful small town". Gangi combines the beauty of the medieval palaces and churches with the uniqueness of its natural environment. Lastly we will enjoy a memorable pizza made by ancient grains in the picturesque village of Petralia Sottana (16 km – 10 miles from Gangi), in company of a group of musicians, dancers and singers who will perform the traditional Sicilian folk music for us! September 6: Valley of the Temples – Ragusa Ibla Breakfast at the hotel restaurant and check-out. 08.30 am: we will meet in the hotel lobby and move to the south of Sicily. We will reach Agrigento (161 km – 100 miles from Cefalù) and enjoy a tasting of the famous almond pastries of this area. Then it's off to visit the Valley of the Temples near Agrigento and enjoy the pleasant guided walk (about 1,5 hour walking tour) in this splendid archaeological park included in the Unesco Heritage Site list in 1997. We will visit the magnificent temples dedicated to the Greek gods, such as the Temple of Concordia, one of the best examples of Doric art in the world. We will have a great Sicilian lunch in one of the most renowned restaurants in the area. Then it's off to Ibla (133 km – 82 miles from Agrigento), the historic center of Ragusa, a Unesco site in the South East of Sicily. The area of Ragusa is famous for an unique architectural phenomenon in the world, the Val di Noto Baroque, included in the Unesco Heritage Site list. We will check-in at the hotel and after a couple of hours of leisure we will enjoy a pleasant stroll in the heart of Ibla, our home base for the next 2 nights. We will discover a timeless Sicily in a maze of narrow cobbled streets, churches, palaces and monuments. The most of them are adorned with capitals made of local stone and inlaid by the hands of skilled craftsmen. Lastly we will have a dinner on the terrace of a restaurant with one of the best view in town! September 7: Chiaramonte Gulfi - Valley of Acate – Modica 09.00 am: After breakfast at the hotel restaurant we will explore the South East of Sicily. This day will be completely dedicated to the food and wine excellencies of the area around Ragusa!

We will reach the village of Chiaramonte Gulfi (18 km – 11 miles from Ragusa) and visit an ancient olive oil mill. Chiaramonte is famous for the great quality of its olive tree groves and so we will enjoy the traditional Sicilian olive oil with the typical bread of the area. Then we will move to the Valley of Acate (23 km – 14 miles) and visit a gorgeous ancient winery surrounded by beautiful vineyards. We will enjoy a terrific lunch paired with some refined Sicilian wines (such as the famous Nero d'Avola and Cerasuolo di Vittoria) right in the amazing cellar full of beautiful old barrels!

Then it's up to visit a producer of the extraordinary local cheese from the area of Ragusa.

Lastly we will reach Modica (another Unesco site!) and taste the traditional chocolate, which respects the excellent ancient Aztec recipe that the Spaniards imported in Sicily in the 16th century!

We will return to Ragusa Ibla (15 km – 9 miles) and spend the evening and night at leisure.

September 8: Marzamemi – Noto – Archaeological park of Syracuse 09.00 am: after breakfast at the hotel restaurant we will check-out and depart to Marzamemi (57 km – 37 miles from Ragusa) a stunning fishing village where we will meet a red tuna producer and enjoy fish paired with a glass of Sicilian white wine. Then it's off to discover the beautiful town of Noto (Unesco site; 23 km – 14 miles from Marzamemi), another great expression of the Sicilian Baroque style. The urban fabric of this town retains a rich and varied record of its past including buildings, stairways and plazas from the 18th century. After the guided stroll (about 45 minutes) we will enjoy a great lunch based on fresh fish at an awarded restaurant and we will have a pleasant stop at the best caffè of the town to try a great Granita made with pistachio and almonds, a wonderful combination from the East side of Sicily. The last necessary step is the archaeological park of Syracuse (39 km – 24 miles from Noto) where we will be amazed by the Greek theater (the largest and the best preserved in the entire Hellenic world), the Ear of Dionysus (famous for the peculiar sound effect) and the Roman amphitheater. Lastly we will reach the island of Ortigia, the heart of the ancient town of Syracuse (it was included in the Unesco Heritage Site list in 2005), your home base in Sicily for the next 2 nights. September 9: Ortigia (Syracuse) Breakfast at the hotel restaurant. 09.30 am: we will meet in the hotel lobby and start the guided walking tour of Ortigia, the wonderful historic center of Syracuse (about 2,5 hours walking tour with several stops). “The most beautiful city of Magna Grecia”, in the opinion of Cicero is almost 2700 years old: it was founded by ancient Greek Corinthians and Teneans. We will admire the remains of Greek civilization, first of all the temple of Apollo, the oldest one in Sicily and the temple of Athena, incorporated in the cathedral (Duomo), that is also one of the first Christian churches in Europe. Ortigia boasts also beautiful palaces and fountains from last centuries and some proofs of the Norman period (12nd century) such as the Castle of Maniace. At lunchtime we will reach the outdoor market of Ortigia and enjoy a selection of some traditional cheese and cold cuts made by a local producer who is also a funny show-man! September 10: Catania – Taormina 09.00 am: after breakfast at the hotel restaurant we will check-out and depart to Catania (67 km – 41 miles from Syracuse) the second largest town in Sicily. September 11: Mt. Etna – Wine tour – Savoca (The Godfather filming location) 08.30 am: after breakfast don't forget to wear your sport shoes and wind jacket... we will depart to Mt. Etna (55 km from Taormina), the highest active volcano in Europe (10.922 ft). It was added to the list of Unesco World Heritage Sites in June 2013. We will enjoy a pleasant guided walk (30 minutes) to some extinguished craters in the south of Mt. Etna and admire the signs of last eruptions. At lunchtime we will visit one of the most beautiful wineries on the slopes of the volcano. It is surrounded by vineyards and fascinating natural environment where we will be seduced by amazing flavors and essences. We will enjoy a guided visit of the winery and have a lunch with some great Sicilian food and delicacies while experiencing the typical Etna Sicilian wines. Then it's off to follow the panoramic road to picturesque Savoca (54 km from the winery) and go on trail of Michael : we will discover the Sicilian locations where The Godfather by F. F. Wato Tours of Wafe Tours Srl is a Tour Operator operating in the sector of professional travel organization in Italy and abroad, according to the terms and principles provided by the Italian Laws (art. 2 D.Lgs 17 Marzo 1995, n.111).

Round Trip Consulting is a DMC (Destination Management Company) and a PCO (Professional Congress Organizer) operating in the sector of professional organization of corporate events and conferences. Round Trip Consulting owns the Facebook page called “Best Things to Do in Sicily”. Round Trip Consulting supplies to Wato Tours of Wafe Tours S.r.l. his consultancy as a Voyage Designer Consultant with a view to designing private and customized tours in Sicily for individuals and groups.

The tour package called “Sicily Lovers' Tour” is marketed by Wato Tours of Wafe Tours S.r.l. (which owns the technical management) and addressed exclusively to clients of Round Trip Consulting.

DEFINITIONS For the purposes of this contract the following terms shall have the following meanings: a) Wato Tours di Wafe Tours S.r.l. hereinafter referred to as the “travel organizer” or the “organizer” is the subject which provides to the buyer a tour package, in accordance with a request in written form and a payment established in the contract. b) the purchaser of this tour package, hereinafter referred to as the “buyer”. c) “Tour package”: the combination of transportation, accommodations and additional tourism services not included in transportation or accommodation costs. ADJUSTMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The organizer reserves the right to make any changes to the program that may be necessary for technical-organizational reasons or if causes beyond its control or causes of force majeure prevent it from proceeding correctly. The organizer shall immediately inform of such changes.

The organizer declines all moral, civil and property liability for any damage, theft or other incidents to persons and property during the event, which do not depend on his direct responsibility or negligence.

OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS AND BUYER Participants will definitely make sure to bring proof of vaccinations certificates, passports and any other document valid to visit Italy, as well as visas, transit and health certificates if required. Participants should also follow the rules of normal prudence and diligence and to those specifications in force in the countries of destinations, all information provided by the organizer, as well as regulations, legislative or administrative provisions relating to the tourism package. Buyer and participants are still obliged to inform the organizer of any special needs or conditions (diseases, pregnancy, food allergies, disabilities, etc.) and to explicitly specify the request for personalized services. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAWS The parties hereto submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the courts and tribunals of Italy.

The parties agree that the court of Palermo will exclusively manage any litigation concerning the application and/or the interpretation of this agreement.

Both parties hereby ratify this agreement and sign duplicate copies hereof, to a sole effect, in the place and on the date first written above.
