Children’s Centres Focus on 0-11yr olds You might have used your local children’s centre to have your baby weighed, or when you needed advice on weaning or sleep training – but did you know that they now cater for families with kids up to age 11? Dover’s Green Children’s Centre in Reigate recently unveiled its new logo to reflect the changes to its remit, and had a great response from the local community. Part of the Surrey CC’s Early Help 0-19 offer, the increased age range means that families with older children that require extra support can access it more easily. 7 Ways to Make Homework Fun! ‘Homework? Boooring!’ Is this a regular moan in your house? We’ve all been there! We want our children to progress and do well at school but after a long day, many youngsters will feel reluctant to sit down to get on with their homework - and no amount of nagging seems to help!
