Hamilton received a record-setting 16 Tony nominations, winning 11, including Best Musical, and was also the recipient of the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Hamilton has received nearly unanimous acclaim from professional critics, being deemed a cultural phenomenon. You have orchestra seating for Hamilton with its new vision and sound, as rap is used for most of the musical numbers and the actors sing all the dialogue.
