Hyundai Motor America 10550 Talbert Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 MEDIA WEBSITE: HyundaiNews.com CORPORATE WEBSITE: HyundaiUSA.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BELJAN FINAL PLAYER TO QUALIFY FOR HYUNDAI TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS Chris Reimer PGA Tour 9042733286 [email protected] ID: 37781 Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii, Nov. 14, 2012 – With his dramatic victory at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Classic, 28yearold rookie Charlie Beljan became the final player to qualify for the 2013 PGA TOUR seasonopening Hyundai Tournament of Champions, to be held at the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort, Jan. 37, 2013. Beljan, who suffered from a panic attack during the second round and was almost unable to compete, held on for his first PGA TOUR victory. The performance helped him move from outside the top 125 on the money list and in danger of losing his PGA TOUR card for 2013, to inside the Hyundai Tournament of Champions field and suddenly on the PGA TOUR ballot for Rookie of the Year. “I was happy that my wife and my baby were here,” said Beljan. “It still isn’t real. Three weeks ago before The McGladrey Classic, I was 150 (on the money list) and hoping to play well so I didn't have to fly straight from here toHoustonfor Second Stage. And then I did well at McGladrey. I'm like, beautiful. Now I can go right to Final Stage. Now I don't have to go to Q‑school for a few years, and I get to go toHawaiito start the year.” Beljan will join 36 other PGA TOUR winners who have qualified for the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans Record Book (est. 2017, thru 2019) *2017 & 2018 Format Information: An historic change was made to the format of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in 2017, making the event a two-player team event featuring Foursomes (alternate shot) during the first and third rounds and Four-ball (best ball) during the second and fourth rounds. A change was made at the 2018 Zurich Classic of New Orleans , with the two formats switching rotations. Rounds one and three in the two-player team event featured the Four-ball (best ball) format, while the second and fourth rounds used the Foursomes (alternate shot) format. Since the formation of the PGA TOUR (1968), the Zurich Classic became the first official event to utilize Foursomes as part of a team competition. The 2017 Zurich Classic was the first official PGA TOUR team event in 36 years. Before that, the last official PGA TOUR team event was the 1981 Walt Disney World National Team Championship held at the Magnolia, Palm and Lake Buena Vista courses at Disney. Vance Heafner and Mike Holland won that title. The tournament became an individual stroke-play event in 1982. The Zurich Classic awards FedExCup points and official money and counts as an official victory for the members of the winning team. One golf writer stated that for the first time more golfers were on waiting lists to get out of clubs in the United States that there were waiting to get into clubs. • JONAS BLIXT Sunday, July 7, 2013
INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT: JONAS BLIXT Sunday, July 7, 2013 MODERATOR: Okay, we'll get started. We would like to welcome the 2013 Greenbrier Classic champion Jonas Blixt into the interview room. Jonas, that's a beautiful trophy sitting in front of you. Tell us what that means to have it in your possession right now. JONAS BLIXT: This is what I play for. I play to win and I mean it just confirms that you're doing the right things and that you work hard and dreams can come true if you work hard and keep at it. MODERATOR: It was a wild and crazy day with all of the weather, with the darkness. Just talk a little bit about what it was like out there. JONAS BLIXT: I was kind of anxious to get out there. You know, when you get those weather delays, you sit around, you want to get out there, you want to prove what you've got, a lot of thoughts going through your mind. When it comes down to it, you go out there and try to be a professional golfer and do your best and some days work out really well. MODERATOR: Before we open it up to questions, every interview you did you talked about how you can't wait to see your family. How special will that be? JONAS BLIXT: I mean, I miss them a lot and it's not quite the celebration that I had at the Frys, but I'll make sure we celebrate when I get home, yeah.
