Quick Start Guide to AirPlay on RISD Campus

Overview

AirPlay is a wireless technology from Apple that allows for wireless mirroring of your Apple device to a remote display (Projector or at screen TV). RISD is using Apple TVs at the projectors for this purpose. The new generation of Apple laptops running Mountain Lion OS, iPhone 4S or iPad 2 (and later) with iOS 5 and later run AirPlay natively an require no additional program downloads or upgrades. Older MacBook Pro laptops with Lion (10.6.8 or later) may use a 3rd party AP called AirParrot.
