It is matter of great pleasure that Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Murthal is organizing 5th DCRUST-OPEN (Tennis Tournament) from January 23-24, 2018. The Tournament will be played in five categories, i.e. Men (Singles & Doubles), Women (Single), Boys (U-16) (Single), Sr. Men-40+ (Double). Tennis is considered to be a Western games but recently getting popular in India as well. Thanks to Vijay Amritraj, Ramesh Krishanan, Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupati, Sania Mirza & latest one sensation Somnath Burman. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal has taken an initiative to popular this game by opening a state-of-the-art tennis academy. It has four clay courts and one synthetic court with flood light facility. To have the exposure of the players on a larger canvas university is organizing this event annually. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Murthal is located on the National High Way No.1 (G.T. Road) 48 K.m. from ISBT, New Delhi towards Chandigarh. You are requested to give it a wide publicity by forwarding it to the upcoming players in your touch.

Some important information’s for participants. 1. All India Tennis Association rules will be followed. 2. Knockout System will be adopted. 3. Matches will be played as the best of 13 (Thirteen) games with 6-6 Tie Breaker till the quarterfinals. 4. Matches will be played as the best of 17 (Seventeen) games with 8-8 Tie Breaker for Semi Final and Final. 5. Participants must wear proper games kit (preferably white). 6. Participants are requested to make their own boarding & lodging arrangements. 7. Entry Fee will be charged @ Rs.500 for Single & Rs.1000 for Double. 8. Cash Prizes will be awarded for winners and runners. (mentioned in the poster). 9. The participant must disclosed their seeding if any of the recognized tournament. 10. Last date for the receipt of entries is 22 January, 2018. 11. Decision of the official will be final.
12. The fixture may be changed in case of urgency.
