Dopo le belle soddisfazioni degli Europei di cross con la vittoria di Crippa e del team junior, anche la stagione nazionale in sala ha rivelato la bella vivacità del nostro movimento giovanile. Ragazze e ragazzi che fanno già cose “da grandi”, talenti che dobbiamo far crescere, senza fretta, in attesa del vero confronto con l’atletica di livello assoluto. Il futuro è loro, ma il nostro per loro è un impegno assolutamente presente. Intanto gli Europei Indoor di Praga sono dietro l’angolo e l’Italia si prepara ad affrontarli con 23 atleti. Pesano indiscutibilmente le assenze di alcuni big fuori gioco per infortunio come il bronzo olimpico Fabrizio Donato e il primatista dell’alto Marco Fassinotti. Peccato anche per Federica Del Buono non al massimo della condizione a causa di un piccolo fastidio fisico. Questo, però, non vuol dire che la nostra sia una squadra senza ambizioni: Alessia Trost, Giulia Viola e Chiara Rosa sono nomi sui quali scommettere. E poi ci può sempre essere la sorpresa (non per noi). Per tutti, come sempre, vale un solo imperativo: dimostrare il Alfio Giomi Totò Antibo e Maria meglio nell’occasione che conta.
