Blessing this month’s cover are pals Shelley the Collie cross and Alfie the ginger cat. Shelley was rescued from the pound in Ireland as an unwanted Christmas puppy and Alfie appeared in the owner’s son’s home on a cold night two days before Christmas. As you can see, they have developed quite a bond. Thank you so much to Adrianna Mcnaughton for sending the picture in. Macmillan’s ’World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ returns this month, and we’ve got three happening around the villages across September and October, so do try to go along and help raise some money for. You’ll find all the details inside. I hope you enjoy this issue.
