Some of you know that I just completed an 18 month Come add your voice to training program in Yoga and Jewish Spirituality. Over the course of the last year and a half I have attended four Intergenerational Choir week-long intensive training workshops at Isabella Freed- man Retreat Center in Falls Church, Connecticut with nearly 20 others from around the country. The retreats were challenging, profound and joyful periods of study, yoga practice and sharing with our phenomenal group. In between the retreats, each of us learned Torah at least once a week, studied texts on Judaism, the body and spirituality with a chevruta (study partner) biweekly, and developed our own regular yoga practice, both at home and with experienced teachers in a studio.
