The Baylor name is synonymous with excellence in healthcare, and it is for this reason that hospitals across the state have partnered with us to educate and train the next generation of nurses. OUR FUTURE The demand for nurses remains high, driven by expanded access to healthcare and a growing elderly population plus advances in medical technology and a rapidly changing healthcare delivery system require highly educated nursing professionals. Forging ahead to accommodate our vibrant growing program, Baylor University recently purchased a 100,000 square foot, four-story office building at 333 N. Washington in East Dallas. The new facility is convenient to the current Nursing School building, Baylor University Medical Center and the more than 150 professional nursing practice sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth communities and many others Baylor University throughout Texas. Inspiring a bright future, the addition of expanded space will provide for Louise Herrington School of Nursing state-of-the-art active learning classrooms, student services, a larger auditorium, a chapel and 3700 Worth Street offices for faculty and administration.
