I make no apology for setting out with the aim to make a lot of money for these charities. Instead, I believe that this is something to be celebrated and goes to the heart of the spirit of fun and giving that makes The Shoot such a unique event. It is also why this year we are introducing a new trophy in memory of our good friend Jim, who passed away in December. The Jim Paterson Trophy will be awarded for kindness and generosity.
