The Pirates are the only team to score a goal against the Hoyas this season. • In their most recent outing, the Pirates handed then-No. 13 Providence its second consecutive loss, rallying from an early one-goal deficit to remain unbeaten in their last three. • Four Pirates have found the back of the net multiple times this year, led by junior forward CJ Tib- bling with three goals and an assist. Luca Dahn, who scored the equalizer against Providence, has two goals and an assist, as does Johannes Pex. Paavo Riihjarvi, who scored the lone goal in the last meeting between these two teams, also has a pair of tallies on the season. • Goalkeeper Andreas Nota has started six of his seven appearances on the year, including each of the team’s five BIG EAST matches.     MLS TECHNICAL COMMITTEE PRESENTATION August 5, 2014 NCAA DI MEN’S SOCCER Academic Calendar Year Proposal REFORM PURPOSE STATEMENT ¤ The NCAA reform proposal is being driven by the NCAA DI Men’s Head Coaches for the purposes of improving: n Improving the overall academic, athletic, & social quality of the student-athlete collegiate experience; n Positively impacting the recruitment, & retention of prospective, & current student-athletes, respectively, by offering them a model which meets their expectations for both academic & sport development; n Modernizing the collegiate paradigm from its’ current state, to better parallel the administration of the sport of soccer, both domestically, and internationally; n Growing the sport of soccer domestically at the collegiate level, and in particular growing the NCAA College Cup to a level in which many believe can become an NCAA revenue sport; n Reforming an archaic collegiate soccer model for the good of the student-athletes, the fans, the institutions, & the NCAA.
