Darlington Raceway’s 4th Annual Speed & Feed BBQ Cook-Off and Car Show Great live music from The Recollections Band on stage Friday night sharing classic beach and rhythm & blues music started off the 4th Annual Speed & Feed BBQ Cook Off and Car Show, as cook teams prepared their BBQ and served up delicious chicken wings. Always a favorite with car enthusiasts, this year’s Car Show was a special treat with muscle cars, classic cars, and even a few comical vehicles, such as the truck pictured on right. The real star of the weekend was the BBQ...with folks lining up to sample the best barbeque in the Southeast. The event was sanc - tioned by the South Carolina BBQ Association, one of the premier BBQ organizations in the country. The coveted $2,500 first-place prize earned the winning team a spot in the World Food Championships. PHOTOS BY JANA E. PYE SEE MORE AT: WWW.NEWSANDPRESS.NET
