Srinivasas Chary, Ranga Reddy District has filed 2nd appeal dated 18-05-2017 which was received by this Commission on 20-05-2017 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / O/o the Transport Commissioner, RTA Office, Khairtabad, Hyderabad and 1st Appellate Authority / O/o the Joint Transport Commissioner & Secretary, RTA Office, Khairtabad, hyderabad. 2. The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 20-12-2016 before the PIO requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, on the following points mentioned in his application: TSIC 3. The Public Information Officer has not furnished the information to the appellant. 4. Since the appellant did not receive the information from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 20-01-2017 before the 1st Appellate Authority requesting him to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005. 5. The 1st Appellate Authority has not furnished the information to the Appellant. 6. As the appellant did not get the information from the Public Information Officer / 1st Appellate Authority even after 30 days of filing his 1st appeal, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005. The 2nd appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 03-01-2018. On 03-01-2018, this Commission passed the following order. “On 03-01-2018 the case is called. Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required. Smt K.Priyamvada, Asst. Secretary, O/o the Transport Commissioner, Telangana State, Hyderabad & the PIO is present. The Cover in which the Notice sent to the PIO, O/o the Joint Transport Commissioner, Road Transport Authority, Khairatabad, Somajiguda, Hyderabad is returned with endorsement “Refused”. The appellant he has stated that he has submitted an application, u/s 6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 dated 20-12-2016, seeking information on (4) items. The Case is adjourned. The notice be sent in the name cover of Sri J.Panduranganaik, State Joint Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Road Transport Authority, Khairatabad, Somajiguda, Hyderabad-500082 with directions to serve on the Concerned PIO / deemed PIO.” The Case is called on 28-11-2019. The appellant is absent. The Public Information Officer, P. Durga Prasad, Regional Transport Officer, Somajiguda is present. The Public Information Officer submitted that information was furnished to the appellant through Memo No. 8001/C16/2016-17 dated 16-02-2017. Since information is furnished, the appeal is closed.
