Youth Invite High School students are invited to attend a Senior Youth Study at Peace each Sunday morning from 8:45 until 9:20 a.m. Beginning January 12, they will begin a new "Apologetics" study. What is Apologetics? Normally, when we think of the word "apology," we think of admitting we are wrong or regret. However, when study apologetics, this refers to defending our faith, not apologizing for it. This study will take a deeper look at what we believe versus what the world is telling us to believe.

Women’s Bible Study will be held 6:30pm, January 20 at St. John.

Ladies Aid Potluck at Hilltop will take place January 14 at 11:30am. Bring your favorite dish and share in Christian fellowship. Questions, phone Joan at 734-2228. All are welcome.

Introit – Psalm 2:7-11, 12c; antiphon: Isaiah 42:1a Pastor: Behold My servant, whom I uphold, People: My chosen, in whom My soul delights. Men: I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to Me, “You are My Son; today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your heritage, and the ends of the earth Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.” Women: Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling, for His wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him. People: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen. Pastor: Behold My servant, whom I uphold, People: My chosen, in whom My soul delights.
