Skin Cancer in Organ Transplant Recipients • To reduce skin cancer risk in transplants: – Reduce total immunosuppressive dose to minimum required – Absolute sun protection – Oral acitretin (25 mg daily) may reduce rate of SCC development • Refer organ transplant patients to a dermatologist for regular skin checks
