This Lanyon timeline is a celebration of the 173 years of history since Queen’s University was founded. The University is investing £5.5m in the conservation and restoration of the Lanyon Building named after its renowned Victorian architect, Sir Charles Lanyon. This project forms part of a £700m Capital Development Programme led by the Estates Directorate.
