I was not happy, however, to then provide direct conversions to metric because to be accurate and ensure an exact fit this would involve providing measurements in fractions of millimetres. When I do work in metric I find it more comfortable to work with rounded numbers, therefore I have created two slightly different sets of measurements. This means that in places the imperial measurement given is not a direct conversion of the metric measurement given. MITER SAW SAFETY (Reviewed 9/27/2007) 1. Tool Use and Care • Use clamps or other practical way to secure and support the work piece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against you body is unstable. It allows for work to shift, causes binding of the tool and loss of control. • Do not force tool. Use correct tool for you application. The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed. Do not use the tool for purposes not intended – for example; do not use the miter saw for slicing meat. • Do not use tool if switch does not turn it “ON” or “OFF”. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous. • Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments for changing accessories. Such prevention safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally. • Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools, with sharp cutting edges, are less likely to bind and easier to control. When mounting saw blades be certain that the arrow on the blade matches the direction of the arrow marked on the tool and that the teeth are also pointing in the same direction. • Inspect guards before using. Keep guards in place. Check moving parts for binding or any other condition that may affect the normal operation of safety features of the tool. If damaged, have tool serviced before using the tool. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools. • Do not alter or misuse tool. -

Power Tool Guide 05J50.01 The Veritas® Power Tool Guide is a collapsible straightedge that can be clamped to any material under 1" thick. The 52" tool guide (05J50.03) can be clamped across sheet material up to 52". The 8' Power Tool Guide (05J50.01), or the 48" tool guide extension (05J50.04) added to the 52" tool guide, can be clamped across sheet material up to 100". The advantage this guide has over other 8' guides is that it may be dismantled quickly and easily for cutting smaller sheet material as well as for easier storage or transport. The guide includes a pair of 1" capacity clamps that can be positioned anywhere along its length. For clamping material thicker than plywood sheets, a pair of 2" capacity clamps (05J50.09) is available separately. An optional 12" traveller (05J50.02) used in conjunction with a user-made base plate ensures that your power tool will effortlessly follow the intended line with greater safety. IN GROUND REMOVABLE SAFETY FENCE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (READ INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING) THE FOLLOWING TOOLS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION: Tape measure Utility knife Chalk line Rotary hammer drill Pencil 1/4” Hex head bit Extension cords 5/8” SDS Plus masonry drill bit (If using a safety fence drilling guide, an SDS Plus rotary hammer and a 5/8” X 18” SDS Plus bit must be used) Template (included) Scissors Household glue or pvc cement Shop Vac (for cleaning debris out of drilled holes) 1. Decide where you want your fence. When installing In-ground Removable Safety Fencing take these guidelines into consideration: • The fence must isolate the pool area from all exits of the house. • All sides of the pool area should be enclosed by either the In-Ground Removable Safety Fencing and/or another permanent barrier such as a block wall, house, wrought irons fence, etc. • If safety fence is not being used as a total enclosure, and a tie-in to an existing structure is necessary, that structure must be strong, solid and high enough not to allow a child to get around, through or over the structure. • Do not place fence adjacent to another structure that a child may climb upon. This includes raised seating and decorative boulders. • Fence should be a minimum distance away from the pool edge to allow proper maintenance while fence is in use. 2. Determine your starting point. If the run of the fence is going to be straight it is important to snap a chalk line to ensure that the fence remains in a straight line. -

Safe Tool Use • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. – All volunteers should have hard hats and safety glasses on at all times while on site. – In addition: • Provide dust masks (sanding, sweeping, insulating, etc.) • Provide ear plugs (power tools, work in enclosed spaces) • Provide knee pads, gloves, and any other safety equipment to increase comfort of crew members. Safe Tool Use • Do not allow the operation of tools without approval and supervision. – Make sure all members of your crews are trained to use the tools they need. – Remember: Everyone must get an orientation to all power saws before they use them, regardless of their personal experience. • Allow volunteers time to learn and encourage them to practice. – Make sure they are comfortable using tools after instruction. Safe Tool Use • Do not over-exert yourself or the tool. – This can lead to slips and strains. Encourage volunteers to take breaks rather than overexerting or straining themselves. • Place yourself in a good body position. – Most hand tool accidents result from being struck by the tool or flying chips. • Use only sharp knives, blades and bits. – Replace as necessary. Make sure volunteers are comfortable replacing bits and blades or coming to you when they need one replaced. Inspecting Hand Tools • Regularly inspect tools for broken or missing pieces. – Inspect screws, nuts, bolts and moveable parts to make sure they are tightened. – Check handles for cracks and splinters. – Never use tape to fix a handle; it is a direct OSHA violation. As National Advanced Technology Support Project of China for an opportunity, the author developed 500MPa ultrahigh pressure water cutting equipment for super large composite wing and a multifunction water jetting CNC center. This paper introduce the ultrahigh pressure water jet multifunctional technical features about these two equipments involved, and combine with the foreign development situation. The technical modules, parameter matching technology, process method and experiment result are analyzed to realizing the highly-difficult water jet cutting, milling and other applications. MARKET REQUIREMENT OF HIGH END ULTRAHIGH PRESSURE WATER CUTTING In China, technology and equipment development of ultrahigh pressure water cutting have been a full twenty years. The first water cutting machine developed by author is 250MPa of pressure, 2.5L/min of flow. And the current main water cutting products which use ultrahigh pressure intensifier or reciprocating pump are 400MPa of pressure, 3L/min of flow [1].
