Marathe Announced As President of 49Ers Enterprises FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 9, 2018 MARATHE NAMED PRESIDENT OF 49ERS ENTERPRISES SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – The San Francisco 49ers today announced Paraag Marathe has been named President of 49ers Enterprises and will oversee outside business ventures, advisory efforts, and major investment opportunities for the club. Marathe will also continue in his role with the 49ers as Executive Vice President of Football Operations, serving as the team’s chief contract negotiator and salary cap architect, among other football duties. “I am extremely proud of the significant growth our organization has experienced in recent years and the direction we are headed,” said 49ers CEO Jed York. “Paraag has been vital to our success in all facets of our organization for the last 17 years, and it is no surprise that his work towards growing our business and broadening the scope of our brand has been tremendous. I have great confidence in Paraag’s ability to continue to discover and develop valuable new opportunities for the 49ers organization outside of our football interests.” “The last three years have been very exciting as we have seen significant business development in addition to that of our football team,” said Marathe. “In that time, our outside business interests have branched into a number of areas including consulting, technology development and venture investing. We will continue to seek new opportunities that are strategically aligned and expand the brand of an iconic organization such as the 49ers.” Over the last two years, Marathe has guided the team in major business decisions in and out of sports. National Football League Youth Football Program Final Report 2011 Youth Impact Program 2011 0 A Letter From Our Founder Dear YIP Supporter, We are pleased to bring to you a comprehensive overview of the 2011 Youth Impact Program. We are proud to inform you that we debuted two new camps this summer at Stanford University and the University of Hosuton, in addition to the returning camps, held at Syracuse University for the second time and at Tulane University for the fourth time. The following report has been written to provide a detailed account of the real impact our four camps had on the lives of hundreds of under-served young men through their participation in our program. The 2011 YIP raised over $300,000 in support from individual donors, corporate sponsors, grants, and in-kind donations. In addition to the four universities who hosted the camps, key partners for this year's programs included the NFL Youth Football Fund, SMART Techonlogies, Halliburton, StubHub, the San Francisco 49ers, the Houston Texans, and Champion C9. This year, YIP overcame the hurdles inevitably associated with starting new programs in Stanford and Houston thanks to strong partnerships that transcended football. Also, the established programs at Tulane and Syracuse continued 2010's successes due to the many returning staff members. This summer's camps succeeded in providing an authentic NCAA student-athlete campus experience, complete with food and clothing, to roughly 350 underprivileged young men. In addition to providing role models and mentors for these young men, we have given them hope and a stronger sense of self that they will carry with them through their middle and high school years.

On June 16, 2014, a Maricopa County Superior Court judge ruled the rental-car tax, as part of the funding scheme for the University of Phoenix Stadium, unconstitutional because the Arizona State Constitution requires the tax to be spent on highway-related uses. • Nrg Energy Brings Innovative Solar Power Solutions to New Santa Clara Stadium
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 23, 2013 NRG ENERGY BRINGS INNOVATIVE SOLAR POWER SOLUTIONS TO NEW SANTA CLARA STADIUM New home of the San Francisco 49ers to be the first professional football stadium to open with LEED certification and the first professional sports venue to achieve net zero energy performance in California during 49ers home games SANTA CLARA, Calif. – NRG Energy, (NYSE: NRG), the Santa Clara Stadium Authority and the San Francisco 49ers today announced an agreement to bring sustainable energy to the new Santa Clara Stadium. Through this unique partnership, NRG will help the new facility become the first professional football stadium to open with LEED certification, the recognized standard for measuring building sustainability. As one of the first Founding Partners for the new stadium, and the exclusive sustainable energy provider of the 49ers, NRG will install a number of state-of-the-art solar elements, including three solar array-covered bridges, a solar canopy above the green roof on the suite tower portion of the stadium and solar panels over the 49ers training center. The arrays will have a total peak capacity of about 400kW and will provide enough power over the course of a year to offset the power consumed at the stadium during 49ers home games. As a result the stadium will be the first professional sports venue in California to achieve net zero energy performance. “NRG is much more than a Founding Partner, they are providing the energy leadership, infrastructure and expertise to help us achieve the vision of making the new Santa Clara Stadium an economically and environmentally sustainable showcase for innovation,” said Jed York, Chief Executive Officer, San Francisco 49ers.
