ACCIS Central Florida College Tour Monday – Friday, February 20-24, 2016 Registration opens 12:00 noon Eastern on October 17 Visiting Rollins College, University of Central Florida, Stetson University, Flagler College, University of Florida, and University of Tampa Tour Leader: Michele Davis, Hutchison School, [email protected] General tour questions: Mary Hill, ACCIS Program Co-Chair, [email protected] REGISTRATION FEE of $500 covers hotel accommodations and most meals plus charter bus travel between campuses. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the tour plus one breakfast in Winter Park and lunch Thursday as we travel between Gainesville and Tampa. Hotel rooms are a combination of singles and doubles. Single rooms may be requested during registration for a single supplement of $250, and will be assigned on a first-come basis. The tour begins in the Orlando area and concludes in Tampa. Given Florida tourism, it is feasible to fly into Orlando (MCO) on February 20 and depart from Tampa (TPA) on February 24 for a reasonable fare. Transportation from MCO to Winter Park is readily available via taxi, Uber and shuttle services. MONDAY ARRIVAL: Plan to arrive at the Alfond Inn, Winter Park FL anytime on February 20 (Presidents Day). ACCIS will facilitate a social hour and group dinner plans on Monday evening. TOUR OUTLINE ● Tuesday February 21 – Visit Rollins College, University of Central Florida ● Wednesday February 22 – Visit Stetson University, Flagler College ● Thursday February 23 – Drive south with stop at University of Florida for campus tour, continuing on for an afternoon visit at University of Tampa ● Friday Departure: Hotel-airport shuttle service on Friday February 24. HOTELS: Rooms are reserved at all hotels; you do not need to call at this time. ● February 20 & 21: Alfond Inn in downtown Winter Park, near Rollins College ● February 22 Hilton hotel property near Flagler College in downtown St. Augustine ● February 23 Hyatt Place Tampa Airport with shuttle to airport CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received at least 60 days prior to the program will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Cancellations received 31-59 days prior to the program will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the program will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. .
