TO: Sponsors FROM: Jen Szymczak, Community Outreach Manager/ Festival Coordinator DATE: 1/11/2016 RE: Sponsorship Opportunity Every year UCT hosts the UCT Winter Hockey Festival to support special hockey teams across North America. This year, the fifth annual UCT Winter Hockey Festival will take place on February 13-14, 2016 at Bowling Green State University Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Ohio and at the Ottawa Outdoor Ice Rink in Toledo, Ohio. We are expecting more than 20 teams from across North America to participate! With that said, ice time is expensive and it adds up quickly when hosting a festival of this size. We need your help! We have developed the following sponsorship levels. All of our sponsors will be listed in the official 2016 UCT Winter Hockey Festival program, recognized during the festival and, those in attendance, will be invited to the Toledo Walleye hockey game on Saturday night, February 13th, 2016 (limit two tickets per sponsor – subject to change depending upon number of sponsors). Please find enclosed the sponsorship levels. Please confirm and send in your donation by February 1, 2016 to help with this very rewarding event for special hockey players. Please send your donations to: UCT c/o Jen Szymczak 1801 Watermark Dr., Suite 100 Columbus, Ohio 43215 UCT Charities is a tax-exempt organization and your donation qualifies as a tax deduction. UCT is the national sponsor of American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) to help grow special hockey programs for individuals with disabilities. Each year, UCT donates $15,000 - $20,000 to ASHA at the annual UCT Winter Hockey Festival. ASHA is a volunteer-driven association created to benefit players with disabilities. Some of the most common of these are autism, Down syndrome, Tourette syndrome, cerebral palsy and ADD/ADHD. AHSA’s programs give players of all ages and abilities a chance to learn and grow by playing hockey. There are currently more than 50 special hockey teams in more than 30 cities throughout U.S. Thank you for your consideration and support! Jen Szymczak .
