He made his professional debut July 13, 2019, against Orem and pitched one scoreless inning as the starter, retiring the side in order. After allowing seven runs over 4 2/3 innings in his first two appearances on the mound in 2021, Ay gave up just one earned run and one with six over four innings against Stockton on May 22 and tossed one scoreless inning against Fresno on June 6 and another scoreless frame versus Rancho Cucamonga on June 19. He earned wins versus Fresno on June 22 and 25 and allowed just two earned runs in his last seven outings (10 2/3 innings), lowering his ERA from 9.45 to 6.00, before being promoted to Hillsboro of the Hi-A Northwest League last week. Ay has allowed one earned run in two of his four stints on the mound at Hillsboro.

In his professional debut May 7 against Stockton, Dollard struck out 10 over four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, then allowed one run and five hits with eight strikeouts over five innings against Rancho Cucamonga on May 14 for his first professional win. He struck out 11 over 4 2/3 innings versus Inland Empire on May 21, struck out 10 versus Visalia on May 28 and picked up his second win June 4 against San Jose, striking out five. Win No. 3 was a 13-3 triumph over Fresno on June 11 as Dollard allowed two earned runs and eight hits with seven strikeouts over five innings. He also had a no-decision in a 2-1 victory over San Jose on June 18 as Dollard allowed one run and six hits over seven innings with eight strikeouts. The next day, Dollard was elevated to the High-A Everett AquaSox and has earned victo- ries in each of his five starts so far. In his first start June 27, he struck out nine with no walks over seven innings in a 9-3 win over Tri-City. He also earned the victory in his second start July 4 against Vancouver, striking out five over six innings, and in his third start against Eugene, striking out two while allowing four runs and eight hits over six innings. Start No. 4 was against Tri-City on July 18 and Dollard earned the win despite giving up seven runs and 10 hits over five innings (six strikeouts). His fifth win was against Vancouver on July 25 as he allowed just one run and four hits over 6 1/3 innings with six strikeouts. Dollard has struck out 28 with just six walks over 30 1/3 innings at Everett.

Greene started the month of June 0-for-13 before going 2-for-3 with a double versus Visalia on June 13. After going 12-for-18 (.667) in his last five games at Inland Empire, including 9-for-11 (.818) in three straight gamnes with three doubles and five RBIs, lifting his average 52 points to .268, Greene was promoted to Double-A Rocket City in Madison, , on July 8 and, after going 0-for-6 in four games, was sent back to Inland Empire on July 19. He has 15 multiple-hit games this season and has gone 11-for-32 (.344) over his last nine games (July 20-29) with two dou- bles, a pair of triples, his first home run of the season — a solo shot against Lake Elsinore on July 21 — and five RBIs, lifting his average 12 points.

He homered twice against the on May 11 and against Detroit on June 10 and has 22 multiple-hit games so far this season. Haniger went 11-for-27 during a six-game hitting streak from June 25 through July 1 with five two-hit games during the run, lifting his average 14 points. He hit his second career grand slam against the Los Angeles Angels on July 9, snapping a 3-3 tie in the eighth inning and had a nine-game hitting streak from July 8-21, going 13-for-34 (.382) with a double, five home runs and 12 RBIs. He went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs and three RBIs against Oakland on July 24.

In the second game of a at Citizens Bank Park, Howard pitched the first 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs -- a two-run home run by Freddie Freeman, a solo shot by Ronald Acuna and an RBI double by Travis d'Arnaud -- on seven hits. He walked one batter and struck out four. He was placed on the injured list with shoulder stiffness on Sept. 13 and missed the final two weeks of the regular season. Howard opened the 2021 season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, allowing just one run in three relief appearances (9.0 innings), then made four relief appearances and five starts on the mound for the Phillies, lowering his ERA from 8.31 to 5.82 in his last six appearances. He was sent back to Lehigh Valley on June 29 and allowed just two earned runs with 15 strikeouts in three starts (12.2 innings), earning the victory with five scoreless innings against Buffalo on July 3, and returned to the Phillies three weeks later. He tossed three scoreless innings against the New York Yankees on June 21 but left his last start against Washington on July 26 with two outs in the top of the fourth with a calloused-over blister on his right middle finger. Howard has yet to allow an earned run in the first and sec- ond innings of a start with the Phillies this season, but has a 10.80 ERA in innings three and four combined. On July 30, Howard, who made seven starts and four relief appearances with the Phillies, was traded to the Texas Rangers for starter Kyle Gibson and reliever Ian Kennedy.

He earned his first win of 2021 June 13 in a 9-6 triumph over Oklahoma City, tossing 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief, but was released by the Chihuahuas on July 24. Johnson pitched for Sacramento, Richmond and San Jose in 2020. Johnson underwent Tommy John surgery in May 2017.

Diagnosed with a torn labrum in his right shoulder, Mathias opted to undergo season-ending surgery May 4 after failing to progress in the first six weeks following the injury. He was drafted in the 24th round by the Washington Nationals in 2018 and signed for $60,000. Mathias opened the 2020 season in the Brewers’ Alternate Training Camp. He was called up to the Major Leagues on two occasions. In his Major League debut August 3, Mathias was a pinch-runner for Ryon Healy. Two days later, in his first Major League at-bat, Mathias led off the third inning with a single to center field off Dallas Keuchel of the . Mathias eventually came around to score the only run of the game in a 1-0 victory. Mathias went on to compile a four-game hitting streak and was 5-for-15 (.333) through his first week of play in the Majors. He played six games before he was sent back to Appleton, Wisc., on August 11. Mathias was recalled August 20, went 2-for-4 against the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 22, and was sent back to Appleton on Sept. 8.

After two hitless games, McKenna is on another run, going 9-for-22 (.409) in the first five games of a series against Winston-Salem to boost his average 16 more points to .305. He produced an 11-game hit- ting streak during the first run and has 15 multiple-hit games for the season, including going 4-for-5 with a solo home run June 23 against Winston-Salem. On June 28, McKenna was promoted to Double-A Corpus Christi and is 3-for-15 in six games with a double and a solo home run. An eight-game hitting streak (10-for-29 .344, three doubles, one home run, seven RBIs) was snapped June 19 but Torres produced back-to-back three-hit games against Tijuana with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs on June 25-26, igniting a run of 33 hits in 86 at-bats (.384) over 20 games from June 25 through July 18, lifting his aver- age 94 points from .232 to .326. The streak included four home runs and 19 RBIs and a 4-for-6 game against Monterrey on July 6 with two doubles and a triple. Torres went 3-for-5 with two singles and a three-run home run against Carmen on July 27.
